Following an extremely warm welcome we had beautiful food, rounded off with probably one of the best Tiramisu dishes we have ever tasted. Unfussy dining with super ambience made it a most enjoyable experience.

6/10The friendly waitress speaks English and a little Dutch. The starters were okay, the burrata was good, as well as the bread. The chicken was cooked well but the wine sauce with rosmarin was not much more than butter. In the truffle risotto was hardly any truffle, so we had two main courses without any flavour. Disappointing.

10/10I ate the best pizza I have eaten in my entire life here, no joke. I still think about it multiple times a day. I will be thinking about it for the rest of my life. I also got given a free limoncello shot as it was my birthday which was such a nice gesture! This place is a complete gem and I cannot recommend it enough.

9/10Visited Demetra restaurant after reading the reviews on trip advisor, it was a warm evening so sat indoors but by the windows for the breeze, as further into the restaurant was very warm. Waiting staff were very attentive and gave us the time to decide from the menu. We opted for staters, main and dessert and it did not disappoint! Definitely recommend Demetra, lots of choices on the menu and for Amsterdam good prices.

This is a quaint little restaurant tucked away in one of the city’s beautiful side streets. Service was friendly, very fast, and the vibe was happy and energetic. Pizza was outstanding.

8/10The food was very good. My husband and I shared a pizza and an order of fettucine bolognese to save room for dessert so the amount was just right. A little disappointed that the quanciale dish was no longer on the menu. Also, the prosciutto, rucola and parmesan was lacking tomato sauce but still very good. Tiramisu was great but push me over the ledge. Sooo stuffed. Staff very helpful and friendly.

9.5/10Excellent food, friendly staff, top quality with a splendid true Italian pizza dough - only little drawback is the size of the restaurant bit small an hence table squeezed - peak time bit noisy - but overall nice experience
