Some dishes were fantastic: porcini mushrooms were perfect (the simpler the better). Other dishes displayed a strange combination of tastes: great gnocchi with Parmesan cap but on a wasabi sauce with mint essence???

the tasting menu is nice, however it takes a long time. then first time ever that a glass of wine by the glass was 18 eur! especially disappointed as wine pairing was 35 i think for 3 glasses. also compared to other restaurants that are on the Michelin guide the coffee, water and coperto are high. 4 eur for an espresso, 6 cooerto and 5 for water. The food was nice, though previous time we visited it was better.

Everything was excellent until the bill arrived. Europeans restaurants do not understand seperate checks . It’s was a bit of a cluster. The food and the service was excellent!!!

We took the Chateaubriand it was excellent. The side potatoes were so so but a wonderful time. Very warm welcome and very good service. A must go place

I had the egg yolk with potato and truffel which was a brilliant combination and thoroughly enjoyable as well as moorish. My partner had the beef carpacccio which was beautiful with the simple flavours of the ingredients left to shine. As the main dish, I chose the pheasant pasta. That was the highlight of my evening. Extremely tasty sauce with star annis as the surprise ingredient and a silky smooth pasta. The beef dish my partner had was well prepared and looked amazing. We had a lovely evening and would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through Monza or staying at the Hotel de la Ville. In short, all the food was prepared with care and presented beautifully.

The location and the interior design are both great. Unfortunately, despite the price the food was not better than average - or maybe even less. First of all, it arrived cold so we had to send it back to the kitchen. And second, the compositions were basic, nothing special. The service was quite bad as well. They were friendly but slow, unorganised and didn’t pay proper attention. I wouldn’t recommend this place even though I will probably go there again in a few month hoping they improved kitchen & food (a lot). Because the location is really awesome! It’s a pity.

However, we would like to point out that, as indicated in our official communications on the website, social networks and newsletters, the fine dining Derby Grill restaurant will reopen in September and that at the moment the menu offered at Derby Bar is more informal. Due to the recent events related to the COVID, we have in fact decided to offer a bistro proposal while waiting to reopen the gourmet restaurant and also to reorganize the service.
