10/10We discovered Descobre in 2023 and visited twice on our month long holiday. Came back in 2024 and our experience was equally amazing. Food was delightful and the service was outstanding. Very accommodating for food allergies.

10/10Good food with a fine wine focus, excellent choices of tasty dishes made to share - well of course you can eat them on your own also.. :) Kataifi shrimps, baby squid and the lamb croquettes are to die for.. and of course the duck pie with chestnuts. Highly recommended for wine lovers.

Food is different than other Portuguese restaurants. Small plates good favor. Price on the high end. Staff, esp the guys, are lovely and helpful. We had a good meal.

10/10I went with friends who have been in Lisbon 10 days and they were so very pleased, saying it is the best meal they have had to date. (And they’ve gone to a Michelin ** restaurant!) Excellent all the way around. The portions are generous, the wine list is terrific, and the service is friendly but not overbearing. Very nice ambiance. Well worth the higher than usual prices.

9/10Classy restaurant and very good quality food. We ordered baby squid appetizer, lamb, suckling pig, and octopus. All were very good. The lamb was remarkable. I believe it was a braised shank. I slightly downgraded the food rating because the side order (asparagus) was only about 8 pieces. In my opinion, this is a weak sized portion. Otherwise, this was a great experience and I enjoyed my meal.

10/10This lovely restaurant is just a short walk from the Belem Tower. It offers a great dining option in this area. There is also a wine shop. Give it a try!

10/10I've been in this restaurant many times. I lived aboard for the last few years and therefore I stopped going but I went back there this week and I was very happy to feel that the quality of service, food, and environment is still the same. I totally recommend it. Either for a romantic dinner or for a family gathering. Also for a friend's get together or a business meal, why not?! The menu offers plenty of options and all of the dishes have a lot of flavour in their innovative way of cooking. Give it a try!

10/10I love the “Bacalhau à Brás” of Descobre. And I am not usually a big fan of this dish in other places. But this one is really delicious and I always come back to have it! This time we also shared the duck breast with sweet mashed potatoes, which was also very good. The desserts were the “sweet eggs” with ice cream and chocolate cake with coconut and raspberry ice cream and both were delicious (I’m not a big fan of coconut, so I preferred the older dessert, only with the raspberry and pink pepper). The restaurant is very cozy and the staff very attentive and friendly. I will come back!

10/10We’ve dined in many great restaurants around the world and Descobre restaurant was a perfect example of what happens when true experience, great taste and real class all come together to create a culinary cultural gem! This Lisbon restaurant certainly competes with the best we have ever experienced in New York, London or Paris. The service was just so naturally elegant and the cuisine will elevate your senses. You MUST visit Descobre to have an experience that’s beyond a 5 Star or Michelin rating! Bravo to Susana and the entire staff!

10/10Absolutely delicious. What a wonderful restaurant. We took a 2.5 sunset cruise at the wharf and finished our evening here. Great wine great apps and i had the sea bass and squid. Service was awesome.

10/10High quality restaurant with a friendly staff. The price is not cheap, but the food is delicious! Bacalhau à Brás is a must (and usually this is not one of my favorite dishes in other restaurants), the mushrooms as a starter were very tasty and the desserts are also very good. The last time I was there the waitress didn’t speak Portuguese, which I found really weird… If someone is serving in a Portuguese restaurant at least it should know the basics… I did a question about the desserts and she didn’t know it either… in the end of the meal I’ve asked the same question to another waiter and he has clarified my doubt (although too late…). It’s an improvement point… Other than that this is a wonderful restaurant and I will come back again in the future.

10/10It is not often I give top marks for a restaurant but I had to for this one. I found this restaurant by chance as a late birthday lunch for my wife. I was a little nervous about whether it would be good. I now know the previous reviews were telling the truth. It is excellent. I cannot rate this restaurant highly enough. Fantastic food and great service. I will be back here next time I am in Belem. I recommend you come here. While it is pricey, it is worth every penny.

I and my husband had lunch at the terrace and it was very pleasant. The couvert was good (could have 1 or 2 more little breads for the price, though…). The Brás Cod was delicious. It’s my favorite dish there. The desserts (egg cream with ice-cream and pear crumble) were also very good. It’s a pity that they don’t have the brownie with the raspberry ice cream they had last time… One thing that it didn’t make any sense is to have a waitress that doesn’t speak any Portuguese… We are in Portugal, come on! I could understand if her Portuguese was not perfect…but to oblige the customers to speak English… it does not make any sense. We ask a question and she has answered: “no Portuguese… English?” I’ve asked a question about the dessert and she didn’t know. After we ate deserts, another waiter come and has clarified my doubt. Too late unfortunately…The restaurant is not cheap at all, but the quality is good. 88 eur for 2 people (couvert+ 2 Brás Cod + 1 bottle of water and 2 glasses of wine + 2 desserts). I will be back in the future for the Brás Cod!

6/10By the classification of the fork 9.2 and by the previous comments I was disappointed. Very slow service and little empathy for customers. exorbitant price , for instance for covert for 2 they charge (bread, toast, butter and olive pate €6.40), most dishes come without a side dish and the tuna steak was cold. The service is not included in the price. I would mind paying if the service if the service would be flawless , it can not be an excuse that the restaurant was full in a Sunday due to mother’s day)

10/10one of our best meals in a 12 day trip - highly recommended and they have VEGETABLES - and delicious at that - we would consider going again, but alas our trip has come to an end. This is my first review on the Fork, and deservedly so - great restaurant overall!

The waiter seemed to be overwhelmed. Forgot multiple things that we ordered. Never came back with water. The food was some of the worst I've had while here in lisbon. So bland. Not an ounce of flavor. The burger wasn't even mixed. It's like they took some ground beef and just put it on a bun.
