Reservation was made 14 days in advance for New Year’s Eve with a 5:00 pm arrival and a clear instruction to vacate by 6:00 pm. Nowhere during booking was it mentioned that guests would not be allowed to order food. When we tried to place our order at 5:15 pm, we were told the kitchen was already shut for gala dinner prep. The receptionist was rude and dismissive, questioning how we could possibly be served if we ordered at 5:15 pm despite the restaurant later confirming by email that last orders were meant to be taken at 5:30 pm. After pointing out that we were explicitly denied the chance to order at 5:15 pm, all communication stopped. This used to be one of my favourite dining spots in Milan. One interaction at the entrance completely ruined the experience.

This review is based on 2 visits (2024 & 2025) What’s really good- The decor, the food (can highly recommend the chicken cesar salad) What’s good- The drinks selection and professionalism of staff. What would have made it better? Quicker service, more comfortable seating, cheaper drinks, and been warmer, but we were sat on a table near the main doors with people coming in and out.

It was the second time we visited the restaurant and everything was very beautiful. Our experience, like last year, was made even better by the service and presence of Francesco. He is a wonderful person and an excellent professional. Honestly, my husband and I are particularly happy that we met Francesco again this year and in combination with the wonderful flavors we chose, he made our evening beautiful.

We had a good waiter very friendly hard to see in Italy. Only minus point is they came with white truffle (4 grams €50) and didn’t tell me I have to pay so much for it or whatever (I thought it’s included) For the rest good restaurant I would go there again.

Just loved the vibe! Last night of a month long trip to Italy, icing on the cake! Staff were friendly & attentive. Food was delicious. Loved the D&G stamps on my club sandwich & dessert - alot of envious folk back in Ireland!!

John Luca was exceptional! He made us feel a million dollars and nothing was too much to ask for. He made us smile from start to finish and would love to return to have his hospitality again. The manager was also extremely attentive finding us the best tables all evening and making sure we were looked after by all the staff! 10/10
