10/10Fabulous and attentive staff, excellent food (best we’ve had in Barca so far!!) and totally delicious. Exceptional organic red wine (about €18) that was again, better than anything else we’ve had in the vicinity. This restaurant is a diamond in the El Clot district and can only grow and be more successful (we hope).

10/10I went on a Tuesday evening with my two children. The menu was extensive, and everything we had was yummy. I had paella, gazpacho, padron peppers and my children had a burger and spaghetti. Everything was great, including the service. Highly recommend.

10/10Customer service was great! We had 2 vegetarians in our group and they immediately asked us to scan the QR code to have a faster view of the vegetarian options. The paellas were great! The tapas were very tasty and they even provided an excellent spicy sauce per our request! We reserved our table in advance but somehow the restaurant didn't show our reservation but they accommodated us right away. Great place!

9.5/10We loved Diego’s Bar. We even had Diego himself take care of us. We were a group of six and decided to just order different dishes on the menu and share them. There was not one that was bad. My personal favorite was the cod and spicy potato’s. We tried the sparking sangria and it was delicious, so light and refreshing. Run to Diegos Bar and try what they have to offer.

10/10This is a wonderful, authentic, neighborhood restaurant, run by the owner and the food and service was FABULOUS! Nothing touristy, not a glitzy street, but WOW did we find the BEST restaurant in Barcelona! The Sangria was delicious and such a treat after a long day ( and I didn't really think I liked Sangria). Catalan Bread, Sliced fried artichokes, eggplant, and peppers to start...amazing! Then shrimp with garlic sauce, and seabass, which was amazing! We cannot wait to come back! We went at 8pm when it opened and sat inside by the windows...lovely vibe. There are also tables al fresco if the weather is nice and you choose to dine outside. DIEGO himself was our server and he treated us like family!

7.5/10On our visit, the restaurant was extremely busy but staff worked really hard to keep everything moving along although there was a bit of delay in being able to place our orders. Food was good, Staff were friendly and helpful and we felt overall it was good value.

9.5/10We have been to Barcelona for a week and searching for a great restaurant. We can say that this is the best so far, it has tapas and paella which taste really good and better than the rest. We really recommend this restaurant and would probably be back.

10/10We went here for an authentic tapas experience and that is exactly what we got… the food was divine. We shared a few tapas dishes to start; spanish sausages, honey eggplant & prawn croquettes, all of which were delicious. We then shared the seafood and chicken/veg paella. They were both delicious, only improvement I would suggest would be more seafood (only 1 king prawn with the seafood one). The service was fast and the cocktails are great too. You got to go here!

9.5/10We had the best time at Diego’s! The grilled prawns and seafood paella were fantastic. The service was great. It was a little out of the way but worth the ride. This is no tourist trap- it was a wonderful meal !

4/10A little disappointed after all of the positive reviews. Food was very average. Chicken fingers ( for kids) served completely raw in the middle, then brought back the original undercooked ones after being returned to the fryer. Remaining tapas were fine but nothing special. Had many better meals elsewhere in Barcelona.

9/10The staff were nothing short of brilliant. I amended the booking twice to add numbers and eventually they accommodated 11 of us for dinner. Food was of good quality and competitively priced, service was very warm and welcoming and we all had a lovely evening. If you want a locally run restaurant, that has good quality food and is reasonably priced, look no further.

10/10Great food. Great service. Fair pricing. Small wine list, but well selected and fairly priced. The cod in a garlic cream sauce was fantastic. The owner was on site and it showed.

6.5/10The staff is very kind and the place is cosy ! The paella was really good but the pasta vongole is more like seeafood pasta but nothing exceptional and the chocolate cake (coulant) is not homemade. Overall is a great experience.

Regarding your comment about dessert, our menu includes homemade and non-homemade desserts. We do not reflect the homemade coulant. And finally regarding the Vongole, in fact the base of the dish is seafood sauce, white wine and clams. Perhaps the inconvenience here would be the salt that he told us later. Kind regards

10/10On holidays in Barcelona, for my youngest son birthday and picked Diegos for the birthday dinner. Food was really goods, prices were more than fair but what really made it special was the attentiveness of the staff, including remembering my note during reservation that it was a special occasion. Whenever I return to Barcelona, another visit will be top of my list.

9.5/10We liked Diego's very much. Booking was based on online reviews for my husband's birthday and we were not disappointed! Our waiter was Christof, charming and entertaining.He made our evening there pleasant and enjoyable. The food was very good and deserts to die for! Great place. Highly recommend.

10/10Great experience top to bottom. It was our first night in Barcelona and this was the perfect laid back experience we were looking for. We had a wonderful table outside. The service and the food were both amazing. From the ham plate to the olives and garlic shrimp we were in heaven. But the black rice and the seafood paella were just delicious! I really wanted a second visit before we left but we will definitely return to Diego's on our next trip to Barcelona!

10/10An absolute gem of a restaurant..!! Incredible & very attentive service, sea bass & lobster paella to die for in a brilliant atmosphere. Could spend every evening of our trip eating at Diego’s..!! :-)
