Found Distrikt41 on The Fork and was looking for somewhere on our last night. Food was delicious. We went a la carte and it didn’t disappoint. Staff were attentive and knowledgable. We particularly enjoyed the little extra courses that arrived unexpectedly. Will definitely recommend to anyone spending time in Alicante who enjoys presentation, flavour combinations and just a down right beautiful restaurant. We will be back on our next trip and I think we will do the tasting menu!

+3If we had to give one word to describe our experience last night, it would be phenomenal! From the moment we walked in the door and were happily greeted by the co-owner (Danny) to when we were leaving and were invited to consider partaking in an upcoming wine tasting (in ingles)... but you're here for the food comments. Before we had out starters, we had two amuse-bouche. One was a "one-bite" delight and the other a sampling of a lobster bisque with tiny tomatoes. I opted for their oyster tasting: creme Fraiche with cucumber, lemongrass Laos, and a tomato and jalapeno. We also had the steak tartar and it had a nice kick at the end but not overpowering. We each had fish: ray in butter, macadamia, and samphire sauce as well as cod in a salsify with miso. It was our 21st anniversary so we had to do dessert. Their Stroopwafel with white chocolate, caramel and pecan and the blackberry sorbet with a pumpkin sauce. The second star was the Priorat wine!!

Ate a six course many with an extra selection of oysters in the beginning (which were really good). The Restaurant offered also couple of amuches. The menu had some really good tastes in various dishes and the restaurant had a nice and friendly service. A small minus from wine pairings and the background Music. Some wines didnt suit into my taste to dishes. Some suited really Well. Could come here again.

Distrikt41 has a great feel to it, stylish, relaxed and confident. A lovely group of people, very happy to tell you about the restaurant and the style behind the food. In the open kitchen the carcoal grill and smoker take pride of place behind the founding chefs who quietly go about building imaginative dishes. Food is beutifully presented, delicious and has little touches that set it apart as special. The meat dishes have spent hours in the smoker which adds that edge of flqvour that good chefs extract from cooking this way. Imaginative local wine suggestions work well and introduce you to some local wines that you may not have considered before. We enjoyed a starter of melt in the mouth pork belly, a delicious lobster tortalini , a main of 24 hour smoked lamb with celariac puree along with red mullet with a deep paella rice and a dessert that is a challenging thought but really work as not a sweet , sweet goose liver with caramelised apple and a nod to the Dutch heritage wafffles yum

From the moment we were seated the entire experience was excellent! The owner went through the menu with us and explained each dish! The starters were amazing, the lobster ravioli is a must. Our entrees were fabulous, highly recommend the Ray Twenty Nine. The desserts did not disappoint either. Loved, loved, loved our experience.

Each dish was more amazing than the next! The staff made a couple of impromptu mocktails for me who doesn’t drink and the wine recommendations were perfect. Excellent staff! We would go back again and again! Definitely a must try!

The food and wine was absolutely impeccable. The staff were so nice, knowledgeable and in a very vibrant mood. We had a wonderful evening. 100% will come back if ever in Alicante again. Well done!

We had the 8-course-tasting menu which was delicious from beginning to end. The wine pairing complemented the flavours perfectly. The Distrikt41-team did a great job to make us have a wonderful evening. Thank you very much! We love coming back!

Very nice setting and great food. The prices were very reasonble compared to the quality and creativity of the food. Also wine was very interesting. Service could have been a bit better, was a bit too "smart". But would definetely come back again.

Superb top end dining experience in a modern innovative restaurant run by two young Dutch chefs. Excellent service and attention to detail. Delicious and well worth a visit - we went twice in a week, it was that good!! The skills of the chefs are such that the food is delicious but you actually don't really know what flavours you're tasting. I had a desert with Chinese 5 spice icecream - yes, it worked!! Support this young and upcoming business. Lovely ambience & simply a great place to be with views of the small open kitchen.

Everything was just great! The Food, the service just everything. We went for the 6 course menu and the wine pairing and everything was just on point! My Girlfriend doesn’t like red wines and she got to taste some good white wines instead. We would definitely come back and recommend it to everyone who wants a good dinner with nice service staff. :)

+1The summer tasting menu with wine pairing was out of this world! Exquisite combination of flavors with attention to every detail. The ambiance and service were also exceptional. One of the best meals of my life!
