10/10What a wonderful experience we had at this restaurant! My husband and I chose the 2 hr tasting menu mid day and didn’t do wine paring but instead enjoyed a few glasses of wine suggested by the sommelier. First let me say the presentation and explanation of each item was beautiful and informative. The service and staff were perfection! And although I have read elsewhere some people thought the restaurant decor was too stark or underwhelming (I think elegant and modern) and lacked background music, I think all of that was done to make the experience about the food because the food is the star of the show.? It stands out like a work of art in appearance and taste spectacular. This was a highlight of our day in Girona.

Wonderfully creative food in a small intimate setting. A variety of flavours and ingredients, with a Catalonian flair. We truly enjoyed a special evening out. You will need 3 hours for the full menu experience.

7/10The dining experience at Divinum is awkward. In the dining room, there is no music, no sound. Even soft music creates a space around you to separate your table from other tables in a room. We felt uncomfortable, which unfortunately we will always remember. Regarding ambiance, there is no art on the walls, just plain wood walls. You feel like you are in a blank space, a void. Yes, Divinum is all about the food, but ambiance invites, relaxes, and excites. The flower arrangement on the plating table in the middle of the room, looked unprofessionally created. It would be a statement to have a large beautiful designed arrangement (as an art piece) in the middle of the room, tempting your senses to what is to come to your plate.

8.5/10We passed on the 10-14 course tasting menu and ordered a la carte. Food was very good but not exceptional. There were tasting items offered at the beginning and end of the meal complements of the kitchen. Service was excellent, very attentive. It is expensive at $100 euros a person, but worth a special occasion visit.

10/10From the minute we stepped through the door we were really well looked after. The staff told us all about the ingredients used and their provenance. They were enthusiastic at all points and helpful with the drinks choices as we only wanted a couple of glasses of wine. We had the smaller food tasting experience and loved every bite and couldn’t believe how full we were at the end. We had no room for the spectacular cheese board. We will definitely come back next time we are in Girona. Well done Divinum team.

10/10An exceptional dining experience! Food as art and theater and an outstanding, attentive staff made for a fantastic culinary experience. We chose the ‘small’ tasting experience and wine pairing and we were there almost 3 hours. Every bite was an amazing treat of flavors. Like there’s, why doesn’t this restaurant have its star?

Delicious and surprising! This nice restaurant is under rated. I found a real ambition in the experience, on the taste and on the wine pairing. We were really surprised! We appreciated the choice of dishes, we discovered a Catalan kitchen we did not know :) congrats!

10/10A true gourmet experience on a par with other leading and more famous restaurants. It is equal to much more fated and higher ranked establishments. Highly recommended especially if you are looking for a Michelin 3* experience but cannot get a booking at other places which have year long waiting lists.

10/10Why this restaurant does not have at least one Michelin Star is beyond me. Everything was perfect, the food was incredible and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable, not too fussy and every dish was explained in great detail. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is visiting Girona. After seeing the city, relax and enjoy a great meal.

10/10What an unexpected gem in Girona, an hour out of Barcelona. The food is the star in this little gem. Seasonal menus, excellent quality. We had the essence or tasting menu. Every dish was superlative. The chef obviously had a super time marrying modern tastes like it’s traditional Catalan flavors. The final product was always unexpected. A must for food connoisseurs in the hood.
