Having travelled extensively in Indonesia, and eaten in many good Indonesian restaurants around the world, this is not one of them! The decor is pretty but the food wasn't great. it's well presented but the Gado Gado was tasteless and the Nasi Goreng wasn't very nice.

Jakarta Bali restaurant offers a variety of mouth-watering authentic dishes of Javanese, Sumatran and Balinese cuisine, complemented by beautiful interiors as well as soothing, relaxing and nostalgic atmosphere pertinent to Indonesian culture. The only gripe may be addressed towards weak airflow - it was a bit muggy inside, that however contributed to the overall authenticity.

Tables for 2 a bit tu close to one another, so there's no privacy. The noise level was too much. And there was a nasty smell coming out of the toilet from the sewers. Otherwise, the food is good and tasty. Service is friendly.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We sincerely appreciate your kind words about our delicious food and friendly service. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the close proximity of the tables, nevertheless the tables of 80cm square are bigger than the standard parisian tables. the noise level, and the unpleasant smell. Your comments are valuable to us, and we will take them into consideration to improve our dining experience for all our guests. We hope to welcome you back soon for another enjoyable visit.

Good indonesian food in the heart of Paris. Limited options on the menu. Staff did not inform about the additional cost of spicy sauce after we ordered 2 …

The food was ok , not really what i excepted , the price was really high for the amount of food served , the negative point who makes all my friend and me really disappointed was the service , it was not good and bad , we were really shocked about the service actually especially made by the owner , this is why we will not go back again..

Staff was friendly and helpful with the options on the menu. Food was good but could have hade more variety in the vegetables for the fried rice, served with two small chicken sticks which would have been ok if we didn’t have to pay extra for the dish.

The place succeeds in being fully and beautifully indonesian, despite its being very conveniently located at a stone's throw from the Forum. And it is the least of its magic … You'll realize it when you give a try to their Pepes Ikan (among other paradisiac dishes). A major success story, I adore it !

Food: Nice food. Rendang, Pepes Udang, Lumpia, Soto Daging and Sambel Terasi really taste like authentic in Indonesia. As for Gado-Gado and Ketoprak, both taste almost the same and could actually include more types of vegetable. As for dessert, Kolak taste great and is recommended for dessert! But less for Agar-agar or Ice Fruit - it’s however include exotic fruits which people may want to try. Service: I booked it for my family of 7. I arrived in advance and was welcomed with a complaint from the restaurant because the reservation was rescheduled (indeed I rescheduled it once) but apparently it appeared on their side that I rescheduled it 5 times. Maybe a bug from La Fourchettte apps? However, it was not the best way to welcome guests.

The restaurant is situated near les Halles , in a small street. Cozy , warm atmosphere. I was there for a Sunday brunch that felt more like a meal than a brunch, but was great all the same. It was absolutely delicious. The cuisine was fine , mildly spicy, just right! I really enjoyed it and look forward to dining there again in the future.

Very nice restaurant. Good service and good food. Reistafel was not as diverse as the ones I am used to in Amsterdam.

Flavours were very mellow and understated - possibly even a little bland. My date and I started mixing dishes to add textures and flavours contrasts. Also, the food lacked the traditional heat.

My second time dining here! Probably the best indonesian restaurant in Paris because the ambiance really remind me of home (indonesia), the staffs are indonesian (including the cook) and they are quite friendly. The staffs speaks at least 3 languages (indo, english, french) so doesn't matter where u're from, you can easily order and feel welcome! The food is not 100% authentic, since probably adjusted to local taste, but still nice! I recommend Djakarta Bali.
