8/10We had a pleasant evening. However a couple of things could make a significant difference. Firstly please heat the plates. On our starters and mains all the plates were cold. The food very quickly became less than look warm. The overall menu is relatively small which is fine but perhaps one or two side dishes could be added. The outside terrace could do with some thought. It’s located at the front overlooking the car park. They have a raised planted wall but some of the shrubs are dead. It would cost buttons to replace them. I think attention to detail could be improved. Toilets clean but loo brush looks old and needs replacing- again buttons. I would recommend but in my opinion they need to up their game. There is an awful lot of choice!

8/10Really good food - and good value too. Very pleasant and attentive service. We will definitely be back! The only other comment I’d make was that we chose to sit outside on a very (very!) warm evening and the table was too hot to be comfortable. Inside the restaurant looked very nice and was cool.

9/10I was looking forward to this restaurant after reading the reviews on the fork. The food was very tasty and flavourful. But note, 1) its a very small menu 2) the portions are tiny. 3) but its also inexpensive. 4) Staff were friendly and attentive, 5) The terrace view is not great it overlooks the carpark and the road. Its trying very hard to be a 'Destination' with its decor and ambiance but the portion sizes meant we left a little hungry. Overall, view ' a bar with a very good chef'

10/10This new restaurant is a great addition to the area. The food is delicious with excellent service by friendly attentive staff. We ate outside, on a terrace overlooking the front as it was a beautiful evening. I really liked the chilled background ‘lounge’ music played and the decor in the inside of the restaurant is beautiful so it will be a lovely restaurant to go to out of season as well. If there was one downside, the ‘kerb appeal’ as you drive by isn’t quite there for some reason and I can’t quite work out why. But please overlook that and as soon as you enter you won’t be disappointed. We will definitely return.

10/10First time trying this new restaurant in this area. Lovely meal, house Rose really good, food excellent. We also had a lovely young waiter, who was more than attentive to us. We will be back before our holiday ends.

Another fabulous meal at D Lounge. Had to have the salmon tartare again, a stunning starter to say the least. Duck was so flavoursome with a moreish sauce. Guys went for ribeye. Finished off with delicious chocolate mousse. Great value meal in stylish surroundings with the most attentive of staff. See you soon!!

We can’t wait to return! Beautiful Salmon tartare to start followed by steaks all round. Son & husband both said the waygu ribeye was the best they’d ever had. Great ambiance. Lovely wine and truly the most welcoming and wonderful service who really couldn’t do enough for you. Thank you for the most fabulous evening, we enjoyed every minute! 😍

5.5/10Limited choices on menu, portions are small. They really need to consider background music or live music. It’s lacking atmosphere, also set back from Road hard to see, nothing attractive outside I.e greenery, lights to bring customers in.

10/10We eat out in fine food restaurants a lot. This one is now on my favourites list for regular visits. The food was incredibly tasty, and perfectly cooked. Good quality high end food at prices which are very reasonable.

9.5/10The service was very good and the food equally so! I had the green bean tempura followed by a lovely filet mignon in pepper sauce. Both excellent. My friend had the salmon followed by the duck magnet. Both also very good and generous portions. We were recommended an excellent white wine. We will definitely be back.

7/10The essence of having a really good restaurant is there, it’s just missing a couple of elements, maybe some background music or a resident pianist or guitarist place too quiet, no ambiance. Menu could offer a little more choice, also portions small.

9/10We had eaten there the previous week and enjoyed it. The Filet Mignon was delicious and my husband enjoyed the lamb. The service was very good, Santiago was an extremely pleasant waiter as was the manager.
