We dined on the outdoor patio at Do Cais as the sun was setting on a warm June evening. The food, the staff, and the service were excellent. The night was perfect until darkness fell, when the interior lights of the restaurant were turned on and the entire patio was flooded with bright white light. Installation of dimmer switches would make this restaurant THE hidden gem of Portimāo.

Excellent mushroom starter, steak CB with Bearnaise sauce, great bottle of quality red wine on the veranda gazing at a super moon across the river Arande and overlooking a small marina. Fantastic find, lovely people and inexpensive compared to the same meal in the UK.

We enjoyed a lovely meal on the terrace with fantastic views of Portimao & Ferragudo! We had the stroganoff, filet steak and chicken pasta and all were excellent. We will return!
