The best dining experience we had in Catania and the view is absolutely gorgeous. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. We will definitely come back if we visit Taormina again. As a recommendation, it is best to have cash on you, because you cannot pay tips with a card. :)

We had lunch at Duomo today. The waitress gave us a table outside and didn'show up to take our orders for about 15 min, until we started looking for her. I ordered Salmon, and it was ok. My husband ordered seafood pasta. The pasta was very hard to chew and most of the shells were already empty, so basically no seafood was added to that dish. We wanted to get coffee after the meal, but no one asked us if we wanted anything else, so we left the restaurant very disappointed. There were only a few customers at that time, so there are no excuses for the bad service we received

Nice location, close to the Duomo of Catania but not right in the middle of all the caos. The food was good as were the cocktails. However, I was not very happy with the service. it is obviously a place where they try to get young people in the hope of selling more drinks. we had to wait ages before we could order and that too, after I got the waiters attention. I hate making a scene but I had to make a face to show I was not happy with the service to get them moving. They also have some in house entertainment that could be considered a little too much 😉

Not safe for Coeliac sufferers. The menu is inaccurately labelled and the staff have no understanding of the dangers of cross contamination. Even when asked, and using Google translate to be sure we got our questions understood, they still managed to gluten me. I get very angry at restaurants claiming to have gluten free options and advertising themselves on gluten free restaurant listings when they clearly do not understand the concept. IF YOU HAVE COELIAC, STAY AWAY!

We went on the basis of Tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. The food was really very good and we tasted several wines before deciding the winner. Staff were very helpful and the singing waiter“ Super Fabrizio” was excellent and so inclusive. Every passerby had a huge smile. Fabulous night out.

Waiter was really good attending us. He was really helpful, he was really funny, thank you for your service and simpathy. Everyone will have a really good time in this restaurant.

The food was really good, and the portions are big as well. The staff is really welcoming and professional. The location is amazing, in the main plaza of the city, and walking distance to the main attractions. Will come again soon!

Food is average, service slow and badly organized (though waiters are nice and kind). We had to ask several times for basic stuff like water and bread. Our first dishes arrived 40 min later we finished the appetizers. Ok with the reduction but not really worth it otherwise

we have been sitting there for 1,5 hours still without food. Some problems always came up, for example the food we chose was over or something happened with the gas cooker and things like that. Other guest used the self service table and food was filled up for them in time. It seemed they just don't want to serve us. So we left without eating at 10.45 pm. Never go there again.😪

I had dinner there with an american friend... we both appreciated food and wine even if the waitress didn't know anything about wine origins and its characteristics. Nice athmosphere right close to the Duomo and to the nightlife part of the downtown. Unfortunately, however, I have to say that the place is too expensive for the quality of the food offered, especially on horseback which should be one of the most typical dishes in Catania.

My husband and I had a lovely meal at DOC Duomo of Catania. The food was excellent and Angelo was a great host with good english skills. He helped us choose our meals and he immediately helped me make my meal vegetarian. The location is very convenient and the food was good. We ordered individual meals but the buffet also looked delicious.

We enjoyed our last dinner from our vacation in Sicily in this lovely place, everything was delightful and tasty. We specially reccomend anything with aubergines and the octopus, not to mention the special cocktail 😍

Booked through Fork based on reviews on Tripadvisor. Booking included a 50% discount on food. The food was OK but nothing special. Certainly not as good as Da Antonio where we ate the night before. The service made us feel quite uncomfortable. Perhaps it was my poor Italian but it felt as though the waiter was continually trying to up-sell us, which become quite annoying as the meal went on.

Really enjoyed our meal. All the staff were friendly and attentive and we were made to feel very welcome. Food was top quality and there were so many wines to choose from. Would happily go back if we were to visit Catania again.

A small, quite restaurant right next to the main square that specializes in wine. They have a lovely area for sitting outside and the street was quite. We had a very attentive waiter that gave us suggestions on food and it ended up being delightful - we had octopus salad , marinated fish as starters and octopus as a main dish and I much say it didn't disappoint, we enjoyed it. The flavour and texture was there and prices seemed fair for the location. The only things we did not enjoy is our desserts - Tiramisu and pistachio cheesecake, as they both seemed to sweet and buttery (not in a best way) , where tiramisu had some fatty chunks in the cream and there was only one small peace of lady finger in it. I would suggest the place for the dinner and drinks, but to skip desserts. Other tht that, service was attentive and overall it was a pleasant experience.

Food quality is not what I have expected. The vine list on the qr menu didn't work as well. Food was not prepared properly. The restaurant has a potential, but the chef should do better job.

i had pasta with pistachios and clams, my wife had tuna steak with avocado and both dishes were awe-inspiring. The sommelier advise us on the wines, he selected them for each of us. I would highly recommend this place, especially with TheFork app

Went there a couple of times a few years ago. We liked it a lot better than. The food quality is lower now and they serve very little wines compared to then.

The food was good, the service quite slow but it was a busy Friday night so it's to be expected. They had forgotten my food and after a long wait, we just had to cancel it. The manager was very sincere and apologetic. He more than corrected the mix up. The rest of the staff were polite and friendly, it was just a busy night for them I guess. We will be back to try again that fish platter. The chicken burger was so yummy and the smoked tuna appetizer were the best I've ever had, great selections of wine. I recommend!

Perfect really, they recommend you what suits you or give you to taste in small amount first. Cris knew what is selling and Thats reason why we liked to spend money here

We were greeted with welocoming smiles by the staff. The restaurant was initially quiet as we dined on a Thursday evening at 6.30pm. The food was good and staff were able to advise regarding the wine selection. My husband also tried the DOC beer that is brewed onsite and would recommend it. It's important to note we spent three hours in this restaurant both inside and out, overall this was an excellent experience.

Fantastic little restaurant which we highly recommend. Great food and very well priced. Excellent knowledge of local wines! Sicilian tapas was a great surprise! Try it!!
