This restaurant a little off the beaten path was the best dinner we had in Lisbon while visiting. The octopus salad and grouper entree were the freshest I’ve ever eaten. A seat by the window and a bottle of wine to share w/ my husband made it that much more special. And the prices were so reasonable! Go there now!

I think the owners are a married couple, and they were really friendly and the food was excellent. The octopus risotto and cod dishes were especially delicious. I went there twice, for dinner and lunch.

Despite the fact that this place seemed popular with the locals, we were very disappointed. The swordfish was overcooked into a mush, and the salad was pale and unappetizing. The desserts were good though, especially the poached pear. What was most annoying was the way the waiter kept trying to upsell us on everything: placing bread on the table even though we said we didn't want it, constantly trying to get us to order appetizers, bringing a half bottle of wine when we only ordered one glass. Overall, we found this restaurant mediocre at best.

Cliente que nem merece resposta Pelo tipo de avaliação que faz ao nosso restaurante, desprositada injusta e ofensiva Por favor não volte, fique no seu país que é um favor que faz

Service was attentive. Ambience is simple but fine. The. restaurant was not very busy, which was good for conversation. Food, however, was OK at best. Only one of four in our party was happy with their food selection. We’ll keep exploring other dining options in the city and not return to this one.

If you order something they don't like, the staff will get sulky and make you feel bad. They don't seem to understand much English, and although the food is not bad, the service made my husband leave. The locals were very friendly.

Owner provides personal touch. Complimentary cod cakes, goat cheese/bread, and aperitif are an amazing touch. Entrees are the real Portuguese experience. Price was very reasonable. A must go!

A small local restaurant, family run, away from the glitz and glamour that offers great food at reasonable prices. A real personal touch from the owner but he can’t be rushed. Cash preferred to card when we were there.

I love the food at this restaurant so much that I returned to Lisbon on my way to the Algarve, specifically so I could have a meal there.

Just a simple, relaxed, authentic place. And a great value. We had wonderful experience given that we just wanted some authentic Portuguese food that we could easily walk to after hitting the happy hour at Canil Cerveja.

This restaurant served authentic Portuguese cuisine. The menu had many options and excellent prices. What I ordered was tasty, and food rations were abundant. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a place to eat in Lisbon. Here's a heads up: plan to have cash, as their card system was down.

Very genuine Portuguese restaurant, thanks both to the owner and the quality of the dishes. A real Portuguese experience. Nothing fancy, but if you are looking for a local experience, then this is your place.

If you want authentic Portuguese cuisine this is the place to go. The garlic shrimp was great however the cod fish cakes were pretty dry and lacked flavor. The rice that came with it was great.

We had Portuguese beef which was served with crisps. It was good quality and value ans the waitress was friendly and understood what we wanted and advised on the wine. The cheese and bread served as an appetizer were delicious and good value. Would recommend for a good quality and good value eat. If you're looking for something upmarket and quiet this isn't for you as it was full if large groups but food is good value. It's cash only.

Simple family run local restaurant with no frills but lovely food, and at a great price. Local people, local food at a great price. Beer and wine also well priced. It’s also close to the main tourist areas, but away from the tourist traps. Don’t be put off by it’s simple appearance- try it!

Authentic portuguese experience in city centre. Good simple Portuguese dishes, definitely recommend trying some of the starters also because the clams and, bacalhao cakes were amazing. Staff is quick, always running around but super kind.
