We had dinner at Dom Lourenco several years ago and finally had the opportunity to return. The interiors have been renovated and stylish without being stuffy. The waiter looking after us was just wonderful, pleasant and helpful in spite of our limited Portuguese. And the food was a delight from start to finish. Great starters of garlic prawns and fried squid, followed up by a delicious Bacalhao com natas which was a different take on the usual recipe. The waiter kindly suggested we avoid ordering two mains as the portions are extra large, lucky he did as we struggled to finish everything even with just one. Prices are very reasonable. A wonderful evening, we'll be returning soon!
