8.5/10Charming little Italian restaurant in the Marais section of Paris. Fortunately, it was open on a Monday night. The food was delicious and portions were so large we could have shared our first course. The antipasto was very good, as was the caprese salad. The veal with tuna sauce was excellent too. I highly recommend this restaurant. When I commented on the large size of the portions, the owner responded with a charming - hey, we're Italian!

10/10We had a wonderful meal in a cosy environment. Especiallly the pasta alla vongole, the pasta al tartufo and the pannacotta were extraordinary! We had an aperitivo outside and a very good diner inside, definitely recommend Don Giovanni.

9.5/10Best meal we had in Paris and not too expensive! Our server was more attentive than others we had in the city, and everything about the restaurant felt authentic. Highly recommend for an outstanding Italian meal.

10/10The team was very welcoming. The food are really good. The pasta with seafood was wonderful with fresh seafood! There are hidden items out of the menu so you just need to think of what you want and ask them whether it’s available! Will definitely go back again!

6/10We found this restaurant several years ago. Have eaten here several times since then. Tonight wasn’t the best. The appetizer was good as was the dessert but our main courses, both veal dishes, were not. The veal was either tough or overcooked. We will give it a go again the next time but tonight was disappointing.

10/10We found this restaurant based on reviews from TripAdvisor/The Fork. We were not disappointed. This is a very cute, authentic Italian restaurant over in the Marais area. It is small. We made reservations to accommodate our party of 5. We were immediately sat and the restaurant proceeded to get full. Limited English (more Italian than French too!) but we were able to figure out the menu and specials. Highly recommend the specials. We selected 4 from the menu (appetizer and mains) and they were fresh and delicious. The owner and wait staff were very pleasant and attentive. We had a thoroughly enjoyable meal. We would recommend if you are looking for Italian food in Paris!

10/10The Parmesan cheese that arrived with my glass of wine was a good omen for the rest of my meal! I enjoyed the ravioli - it was a huge portion! And my tiramisu was delicious- also huge. Would very much recommend.

9/10Small restaurant in a cute neighborhood. We were warmly welcomed and given our choice of tables. We started with a caprese salad which was delicious. It was served over arugula. The fresh bread they brought was delicious! We had a bottle of white wine for 28 euros. I’ve had better for less but it went well with our dinner. Next we had linguine and clams and the raviolis. Both plates were huge. Pasta cooked perfectly but my raviolis could have used more sauce for flavor. I just used a lot of Parmesan and salt and pepper and it was fine. For dessert we had the tiramisu. It was huge as well as delicious!!! We ordered a little lemon cello for 5 euros to finish. They then brought us one more on the house. It was really good. Overall we highly recommend this restaurant! It gets loud as it’s small and everyone is having a great time. We would go back!!!

9/10The owner was effusive and accommodating when we arrived early. The tables were well separated and the service was prompt and attentive throughout our meal. The antipasti served two and was varied. Our two special pastas included one with swordfish, olives and tomatoes, and one with tomato sauce, cream, meat, and orange zest. Both were exceptional as was the wine recommendation.

10/10Came to Don Giovanni for our wedding anniversary, although we made no mention of this we were spoiled and well-fed. The food is outstanding, the service sublime and the welcome warm and friendly. This is a small establishment so book first to avoid any disappointment. I have visited Italy a few times and ironically by far, this is the best Italian meal I have had!

10/10We really enjoyed eating here, the welcome felt like we had been coming here for years, the service was as fast or slow as you wanted it to be with no one rushing you out to turn tables and the food was genuinely authentic.
