Delicious Peruvian dishes and drinks that the staff were very kind in helping me navigate. The ambience and "local" crowd completed the authentic atmosphere for an everall very enjoyable experience.

Don Isidro has been one of our favourite place and after a break due to a temporary closure we eagerly went to try it again. After the re-opening the prices raised slightly. A couple of new dishes were introduced. The food quality went down. Papa rellena - oversalted (usually, it was perfect) Ceviche - leche de tigre and fish were good, but calamari pieces were hard like a stone and nearly tasteless. Pollo parillero - biggest disappointment. Usually it was a superb coral "yellow" chicken with a very delicious taste. This time it was a regular "white" chicken, which was very plain and wasn't soft. It is worth mentioning that the service was perfect and the ambience of the restaurant was as good as always: its cozy, personnel is friendly and you feel like your own home there. Overall: bring back the high standards of the food and you will remain one of the best Peruvian restaurants in Barcelona.

Not an exaggeration - possibly the best meal we had this year! A combination of flavours and textures that (I think) one can rarely find in European cuisines! Hats off!

Excellent experience as always. Very nice food, ambience and service. Prices are good too! Definitely recommended without a question. Try the desserts, they're all good

Everything was just excellent! I'll definitely go back and recommend it. It's the best Peruvian food I've tried in Barcelona!! Legit!!! We ordered several dishes (starters) to share. Everything was just amazing but the Leche de Tigre was THE BEST!! We also ordered different main courses and they were all perfect!

I've been going to Don Isidro more or less regularly ever since they opened and really liked it. However, unfortunately, lately the quality has started going down. Last time the experience was upsetting. Several menu items were not available. Some of the dishes (not all) were clearly not freshly made. Even though there was nearly nobody in the restaurant, the waiters were taking very long time to appear and were unfriendly. Such points make Don Isidro lose the nice atmosphere it always had. I hope the restaurant can bring back the high standards it started with.
