Excellent food and service

we wanted a break from the pizza and pasta and this didn't disappoint. we had a number of the burgers between us and none of us were disappointed.

Amare il cibo americano !!! Best dirty martini, mac and cheese, cheese burger, shake and fries. Friendly staff and awesome atmosphere. If you're an American in Rome or just craving our cuisine Don's Meats & Spirits is an oasis in a sea of pizza and pasta🇺🇸

Food was not very nice, the cheese was not nice. Drinks were lovely.

Service from staff was great. Food was tasty however, the menu stated 4 lobster rolls - 2 x warm and 2 x cold. The one we ordered was to be a warm lobster roll but when it came out it was cold, spoke to the waitress and she said the menu is wrong and all 4 lobster rolls are cold. This was disappointing as we wouldn’t have ordered a cold lobster roll to begin with. Chicken tenders, ribeye steak and bone marrow were delicious. Such a shame though as the restaurant was quite warm inside, could really do with some A/C.

Beautiful location, amazing and friendly staff. My partner had a chocolate lava cake for dessert that they made fresh then and there. Took a little while but it was perfect quality! The mains we had were perfect too

Average food, I recommend to look for another option if you want to eat steak or burger. I am not sure why it’s high rating. The chicken strips is over cooked, burger and steak no taste

The chef cooks American food better than most American chefs. His french fries are divine.

Generel high prices and to high music. Have got many cheaper steaks in Rom with better quality.

For American expats living in Rome, it is a comforting feeling of being back home. Great food and staff. I’m sure Italians will live the experience too.

Food was not good at all. We ordered appetizers first and chose not to order entrees based off of the quality of the apps. Nachos were very basic, similar to what you would find at a movie theater. I ordered the chicken fingers and they came out almost black and over cooked. The space is sexy & modern, but not sure how this establishment is #1 out of every restaurant in Rome. Experiences like these make me question Trip Advisor’s “ranking” system.

We went here based on a recommendation from a friend. It was okay, nothing special. The food was average. I think my friend came here to drink. They have a well stocked bar, however the beer selection was not great, mostly German. I was not a fan of the American rap music. This place seems to be more geared towards the locals instead of Americans that are looking for a break from Italian food.

This restaurant had very good food, but at first seemed to have a club vibe due to the loud music it played. Everybody loved the restaurant though so it was definitely a good experience.

We enjoyed our experience. We are from US and we’re ready for a break from the traditional Italian dishes. We had chicken wings, ribs, and skirt steak - all surprisingly good. We got great service from Valerio.
