10/10Delicious food, beautifully presented. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. Sommelier helped with choosing wines by providing tasters of a couple of options. The setting and ambience were delightful. Overall a lovely experience with thanks to the chef and his team for presenting an interesting, varied and flavoursome menu...an absolute delight!

9/10We had the seven course taster menu with selected wines . An unforgettable culinary delight. If you try this menu we highly recommend including the wines that are chosen for you for each course. We were introduced to some excellent new wines which added to the overall experience and taste of each course.

I was only offered à la carte choices. The waiter said that the portions would be bigger than on the tasting menu. Unfortunately, that was not true. There was very little choice and portions could not have smaller. Also there charge extra a second piece of bread. I have bet to hundreds of Michelin restaurants in the world and I have never seen that. There were no extra petit fours at the end of the meal either, which is very standard in a Michelin starred restaurant. It was a disappointing experience and I can understand why there are several negative reviews.

We visited Donaire for our 30th wedding anniversary and it was a truly stunning and memorable experience. Every single morsel of food was a gastronomic triumph and a work of art. You can sense the passion behind this kitchen and we were delighted to meet the chef at the end of our meal. The staff were adorable without being obsequious (which I hate) and the environment is very classy with tables widely spaced so you aren’t distracted by other people’s conversation. In addition to the amazing food, we were blown away by the 3 Canadian wines we tried. If you’re looking for a special occasion address with genuine local flavour do not hesitate. I have never eaten a more sumptuous meal in my life!

10/10We are on our honeymoon in Costa Adeje and this was a special meal booked to mark the occasion. The service, the food was outstanding - the best meal we have experienced and with me being vegetarian they went above and beyond and it was delicious - will definitely be back!

+6Fantastic tastting menu and wine pairings. Staff were attentive and informative. Lovely glass atrium and tables well spaced for privacy. But, felt just a little warm at start of dinner, until weather cooled slightly.

10/10Utter bliss from the moment we walked in…..impeccable service…..a stool for my wife’s’ handbag set the tone, we were spoilt from start to finish. I said the word wow a dozen times during the excellent taster menu, and the wine pairings were just perfect. A fabulous experience all round.

10/10The staff were very welcoming and gave us a choice of table when we arrived. The atmosphere is very peaceful and the tables are spaced out in a way that maximises privacy in conversation which is lovely. I had advised them I was pregnant and they had already made any necessary changes to my food and informed me of them in advance which was so helpful. The presentation of the food was fabulous with the different dishes and cutlery reflecting the theme of each dish. We ordered tea afterwards and the presentation of even that was fabulous. Would defiinitely recommend!

9.5/10Innovative and delicious food in a very relaxing atmosphere. Service was impeccable slight blip when a loud film crew arrived to interview the chef but the team dealt with that very promptly. If you like high end gastronomy then this should be on your agenda.

+12Absolutely superb, arguably the best dining experience we have ever had. We had the Victoria tasting menu with wine pairing. The menu was varied, interesting, and even slightly challenging in places (in a good way). Everything was excellent, but the tomato appetiser, pumpkin, gnocchi, and Flor de Guia desert courses were stand-out dishes. Some very nice wines in the pairing also. Lovely ambience in the restaurant. It is situated in the GF Victoria Hotel, which has a very high end, modern feel. Service was impeccable throughout. Would thoroughly recommend a visit to Donaire as a fine dining treat if you are ever in the Costa Adeje area.

7.5/10The staff are great and one couldn't complain, completely flawless as is the wine list. My husband and I didn't enjoy this chef's combinations and felt it didn't compare to there MICHELIN restaurants on the island in any way. The desserts and appetisers apart from Sriracha beginner (?? didn't taste very good) were the best items. The Cauliflower dish, smoked mackerel (not fresh), duck and fish dishes were all mediocre at best maybe 5/10....wouldn't go back even though customer service is amazing!!!!

9/10Loved the food - the various menus are fantastic value for the quality of food. So many excellent dishes - the pumpkin, mackerel and gnocchi were completely outstanding! And I loved the curry and date sourdough bread! Now I’m off trying to reproduce that bread!

10/10From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with a friendly and endearing service. We had the Victoria tasting menu plus wine. Every one of the delicious dishes was served with a full explanation of the ingredients and techniques, together with the accompanying wines. A truly superb experience. Our best meal out in Adeje by far.

10/10Food was impeccable and the level of service from the staff was first class. We had the tasting menu with wine pairing and the sommelier was very knowledgeable on the wines. Particularly delighted that one of our favourite wines, Muga, was one of wines served! A fantastic night!
