Both Donato & Luca make this restaurant superb. A jewel in Vieste! The tasting menu was absolutely delicious. Location, Service and delicious food, highly recommend. We definitely will be back.

In Vieste, The place to be !!

Lovely location, oysters very sweet, rissotto very interesting with Jerusalem artichoke, mullet with honey generous but not exceptional flavours,danolu merigue and chocolate dessert - lovely rich dark chocolate and soft and hard meringue. Stuffed squids ok, belly pork as mains disppointingly small. Service not very welcoming- given plenty of time to choose then suddenly wine, bread oysters and first course all appeared together. On going confusion as had ordered just 2 oysters a piece and arrived with first course and assumed not to be shared. Similar with dessert as both ordered the same - so assumed 1 to share. Neither major, but definitely left with the sense that we were a bit of a nuisance being there. Would recommend worth a try as some very clever flavours but be aware of the service. Watched other dinners bring treated very politely. Not out normal experience

I had made an advance reservation at Donlù for the night of our arrival on our first visit to Vieste. I based my choice on Trip Advisor rankings, which too often give 5 stars for most food at the lowest price. This restaurant surpassed all of our expectations. We were seated in a small, intimate space that separated us from the noise of three large groups in the main dining room. Our waiter was constantly attentive and the Chef’s 5-course tasting menu was absolutely exquisite in presentation and in taste! Our vote: Michelin Star quality with reasonable prices. The menu and wine list choices also provide for inexpensive choices of good local dishes and wine.

Romantic setting and excellent service, just as you would expect in Italy. Of course, the food was fantastic!

I had a wonderful dinner at Donlu’. The food, wine, service, all were great. The restaurant is on the hilltop of in the old town overlooking the beautiful water view. Great for a romantic dinner spot.

Very nice staff. We asked for a particular attention which was made better than expected. Food was incredible and the wine selection are on the top.

Good food. But nothing special. More expensive than other places in the city. Somewhat smaller portions.

Great food, orginal flavours beautiful dressed plates and very friendly staff. Take also a dessert, they are great as well, never had a dessert with olive oil that is so taste full before!

Dining room in attractive vaulted room. Service was very efficient. Food beautifully presented. Some of the dishes we ordered were excellent, others a little less so. Stuffed pasta with prawns and seafood broth was delicious, as was the dark chocolate canolo. Wines chosen with meal were a little bit ordinary.
