8.5/10The turbot meunière, the pâté en croûte and the coconut dessert were excellent, but the bread was stale. The service is a little inefficient, they move a lot but you still wait quite a bit.

4/10Arrived at 2:15 for a 2:30 reservation. Was promptly seated. Waited 15 mins before order was taken, 45 mins later no food had arrived at the table. When we asked for the check to leave, they wheeled over the cheese cart. No, if cheese was ready 40 mins ago, why did we sit here? Paid for our wine and left.

9/10This is a classic upscale brasserie with an excellent menu and wonderful, but overpriced wine list. It’s been there forever and it’s always worth the visit. It’s nice to find places that still do an authentic rum baba.

6/10The food, while cooked well, lacked flavor. What a disappointment to be presented a beautiful dish only to find it tasting like water was added to the vegetables and seafood versus making a complimentary sauce or base. The service was like hummingbirds flying all around constantly fussing over us and not allowing us to have a conversation. Both were shocking for Paris considering this restaurant was recommended. The ambience was beautiful. Such a shame. Will never return.

10/10We have dined at Drouant several times in the last few years, and we love it. The food is always extraordinary. We noticed this time, however, that the always impeccable service had been elevated a further notch. Table-side selection of cheeses, fish preparation, and an aperitif cart added a personal touch that we appreciated very much. Kudos and gratitude to the fine staff. We shall return!

5/10Poorly coordinated staff made the experience very disappointing. They did not pay the expected attention and were not able to coordinate the meal. Even the bill was wrong in the end, trying to get paid for an extra main course. This is not what I expected for a Michelin associated restaurant.

9.5/10I reside in The USA and come to Paris very often. After hearing about Drouant since the time i was staying in France, finally decided to discover this restaurant and i have been very satisfied ! As the result on all my 3 visits, my guests accompanying me have been very pleased too by the food and the service (very profesional and kind). The Cote de Veau is just succulent in addition to the rest of the menu. For the dessert, the Madeleine cake is the landmark. I am planning to treat my friends and colleagues again at Drouand again when i visit Paris.

4.5/10This was my second trip to this restaurant because a friend who I respect had raved about it and I thought my first visit, for lunch, was very average. So I thought I’d give them a second try. Unfortunately this is only place I’ve dealt with on a good trip to Europe where the old arrogant French raised their ugly heads to demonstrate the superiority of their culture. Believe me, I visited many better places in this trip where the food and service excelled. The restaurant is nice in a residential neighborhood and serves a classic French menu. The service is extremely spotty, either because of incompetence or arrogance. The captain running the show presents well but is incredibly arrogant and often we had to make the same request several times. We also heard other tables doing the same. The food was OK, heavy, somewhat salty, and certainly not up to snuff for what is considered a good classic French restaurant. All in all, not great. I felt no connection to this place, and would not return or recommend it.

6/10This is a classy restaurant with an extensive wine list. The ambiance is very nice. Service started out quite attentive. However, the food, while good, is overpriced and unexceptional. 3 people ordered the steak at our table with 3 different degrees of cooking. Everyone got a medium well done steak. After pointing this out and that the meat was very tough, service dropped off completely-- literally, no one came back over to our table except the bus boys. It didn't stop us from having a good time, and we continued to order champagne. So, I would probably pass on this restaurant and wouldn't advise it for a corporate dinner.

6/10The staff were pleasant and helped us as needed. We would have loved a bit more guidance with the wine, though the wine they did recommend was good. The ambiance is enjoyable and the food was good, generally worth the price. Overall a nice selection for an evening meal. We did not order dessert.

7/10We were disappointed in the level of service provided. We ordered a high value wine and had to pour most of it ourselves due to the lack of service. The restaurant was not busy so it can not be of any consequence. The meal was good, but not exceptional. After three weeks eating at Michelin and exception restaurants in New York, London, Brussels, and in the Côte d’Or region this restaurant failed to meet expectations.

10/10Restaurant is very pretty. It is in a great neighborhood. It has inside and outside dining. At this time of the year either one is good.Service was really good with good wine recommendations.Appetizers were good. We ordered the ham and I ordered the candy tomatoes. Both delicious.The entree my husband ordered was a veal chop that was carved table side and was superb. I ordered the filet and it was cooked at the right temperature.Highly recommend.

6/10We chose this restaurant for brunch as it was so highly recommended on multiple lists. It was basically empty the entire two hours we were there. So one would think service would be impeccable. We ordered the prix fixe brunch for two adults and two children. The server mixed up the egg order and so we kept waiting for one of the child's eggs. When we pointed it out he kind of argued with us but finally brought them. Throughout, the table was dirty with croissant flakes all over the place, nothing was cleared between courses, extra wine glasses not cleared, we had to repeatedly ask for cutlery, then our server disappeared. The bussers that dropped by didn't know what was going on. There was a lot of staff but no one actually attended to our table or knew what was happening. The final savory course was extremely late and we were so annoyed when we pointed it out that it didn't arrive that we weren't in the mood the eat it. We are almost two hours deep now. Then they kept asking if we needed anything else. We reminded them the dessert hadn't arrived (table still dirty and cluttered). Then someone brought it out in a to-go box. No one knew why. So we picked at it while being closed out. No one asked if we wanted more drinks or coffee, or anything. We didn't receive the drinks included in our meal. The only nicety was the kids' art table upstairs. We could not believe how bad the service was. Probably why it was empty.

10/10Terrific food and service! We loved the sea bass and John Dory entrees and the leek appetizer and more. Lovely evening and great help from the sommelier who suggested a beautiful Sancerre!
