7/10This is a pleasant restaurant in a bustling part of the city. Overall, the service was good, but some of the food pairings didn't quite work. Nevertheless, it has a welcoming ambience, and offers relative value for money.

6/10We came from Toronto, Canada to Sicily for our anniversary. We spent our anniversary night at Due Pistacchi and were surprised it wasn’t as expected- we don’t know what happened. The gnocchi was soo dry and rubbery, unlike the amazing food we have had here while visiting. I want to point out that the staff took good care of us and offered to remove the item from the bill. The antipasti and the wine were very good. Overall, both my partner and I are disappointed we chose this restaurant for such a special occasion.

The seafood was alright, some really good choices and then some other didn’t really work. The pasta was really good though. Unfortunately the service was a bit lacking from the waiters, it looked like they really didn’t want to be there.

7.5/10Good food and welcoming staff, would definitely recommend it. We had the tasting menu, have to say it’s not what I would normally consider to be a tasting menu, the courses are too large and not enough of them. Seemed to be more of an opportunity for the chef to cook what he wanted or had ingredients for that day. That being said it was very tasty and we had no complaints

9.5/10Really awesome food :) we choose the surprise menu by the chef and he prepared some really good food. We were just stuffed at the end ???? And he Atna wine was good too. Really nice service as well… highly recommended !

2/10The food looked generally better than it tasted. It was very disappointing and the staff seemed equally unhappy to be there. The taster menu is a “surprise ” there was no enthusiasm about it or information. We picked our dished from the menu and the four plates were poor. They really need to do better

8/10Food was delicious but a bit too salty. This was our first night in Sicily and the portions were larger than expected, difficult if not impossible to complete the starter + primo + second + dessert without bursting!

10/10We chose to have 2 different tasting menus with wine pairings. This meant we got to try 8 dishes between us and all were delicious. The open kitchen was an added bonus too. Would highly recommend.

9/10My partner and I enjoyed degustation meny in four undisclosed courses. Each item was served a surprise. She and I kept switching plates each time. That way, each of us sampled eight courses! The wine list offers a wide selection of Sicillian wines. The prices are reasonable. Our waiter was pleasant and accomodating

10/10What a fun evening! Everything about it…. was perfect. It was very warm outside, so we opted to dine indoors in their elegant and modern dining room. From the moment we entered, there service was top notch – friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. We had been traveling around Sicily for over two weeks and enjoying the local wine and they helped us pick out a lovely bottle. It turned out that it was a bit past its time, everyone tasted it, and we had an interesting conversation about it. Without hesitation, they insisted that we try another bottle. All of this was lots of fun and very professional. On with the food….done with perfection both in taste and presentation. This was one of our favorite restaurants and have recommended it several people already. First class, high quality all around!!

10/10Quiet restaurant next to the city park, very attentive service, the waiters speak English and they explain the dishes. We had pasta both were really good, the appetizer was fried mixed fish and seafood was very good but maybe too small portion for the price. But good experience, recommended!

Fantastic restaurant with outstanding chefs, the staff really treated us like we were royalty and took care of our every need. The food was just incredible! If I had to make a recommendation then it would be the pistachio lasagne. I have never heard of one and it really broadened my horizons. Would definitely go back as soon as I can. Grazie

10/10We had the 37€ four-course tasting menu. Every single dish was delicious - plus, since they brought each of us different dishes, we ended up with an eight-course tasting menu! Broad wine list at reasonable prices, great service, nice to see the cooks at work in the kitchen. One of the best meals of our trip to Sicily!

9.5/10We had a great evening at Salvo’s place. We had a fish and meat menu which was excellent and our boys ordered the lasagne. The gnocci one was favourite! I took a Delicious red wine: Etna Rosso and the service was friendly and cosy and good! Thank you team Due Pistacchi!! Camiel and family.

8.5/10Service was excellent. Had the tasting menu, which was perhaps a mistake as the portion sizes were a bit large. However, everything was quite tasty. Ate outside, but the restaurant was next to a road so ambiance included a lot of traffic which I know the restaurant cannot control.

10/10We chose the four course fish tasting menu and the waiter told us he would bring us different things so we could taste each other’s so it ended up being an eight course tasting menu. My favourites were the black squid pasta parcel stuffed with aubergine, the pasta with pistachios and salmon and the tuna with pistachio coating. Delicious!

8/10We chose the meat tasting menu. Our waiter was first rate in explaining what we would get and they were most helpful arranging that we got different dishes so that we could exchange. I asked for a wine recommendation and the resident wine expert advised us to go for the most expensive wine on the menu - not a good idea. Surely the restaurant would have chosen good mid-range wines? I did receive a steak and wasn't consulted about the cooking- it was medium and I like mine blue. The tiramisu at the end was very good. So overall pretty good with a couple of improvements needed.

7/10Let’s jump right in and talk about the food. I went with the fish set menu, which for €36 which very good value for money. For the starter course, I was given the frito misto. The batter was light enough, but it was just a touch too salty, even before using the soy reduction dip. The pasta course was gnocchi with squid ink. A lot of the time with squid ink, I have to convince myself that I can taste it, but with this dish, the squid flavour really punches through, and that is great. However, gnocchi is rather heavy and so the portion felt a bit too much. For the secondi course, I was given the swordfish. This was a disaster. The fish was too dry, the breading was falling off and the only thing I had to say about the potato sauce is “why?” The fish was bland and the sauce was bland, this dish needs a rethink. For the final course I had the tiramisu, and this was a win. Looks great and tastes yummy. The service was very good throughout. When I said I wasn’t drinking alcohol, the waiter immediately come up with a nice juice concoction. Can’t really comment about the atmosphere of the restaurant, as I didn’t see the inside. Sat outside, but it was by a busy road, so not really great.

I went early to this restaurant as it opened and the service was very attentive. They spoke good English and talked me through the fresh fish options of the day. The freshly caught fish of the day was delicious as was the lemon sorbet which zinged like none I’ve ever tasted. A thoroughly enjoyable experience, so much so that I am returning again before I leave.

10/10I found this gem of a restaurant on TripAdvisor and saw many great reviews. It is a beautiful restaurant with an open kitchen. The service was impeccable and very quick and polite and helpful to my allergies. The food was presented beautifully and tasted perfect. They made my dish without gluten or dairy for me. I was able to meet the owner and he was fantastic! It was a great experience and I highly recommend.
