8.5/10Very nice restaurant and inventive fixed menu. Service was excellent. Nice, refined ambience but low energy. Portions were small and some selections were average in quality, considering the price and reputation online. Good wine selections at reasonable prices.

+1Not only did the food look beautiful it tasted sublime. The pasta in tomatoe broth was like a Monet painting. The staff were friendly well informed and unintrusive. A fabulous meal.

9.5/10Delicious 7 course menu. Lots of surprises! The amberjack fish carpaccio and meatball starters were standout, as well as the brisket and the pannacotta with salted caramel. Service was excellent, ambience great with subtle background music. Just lovely!

+7This restaurant deserves a one star Michelin. The food and service were perfect and the wine pairing proposed by Sebastien was exceptional and allowed us to taste 4 different wines from the region. We will come back whenever we visit again Lecce!

10/10This superb little restaurant gives a unique dining experience. It’s regional Italian dishes with a culinary twist are all very tasty and a gem to the eye. The team shows their passion for food and puts you as guests in the middle of their universe. In one word “fantastic”!

One of my best meals in Julia. Don’t even hesitate to make a reservation here. The chef starts by walking around to greet the entire restaurant and tries to make a connection with every table. The menu can be a tasting if you’d like, but I opted for the à la carte choose your own adventure style. especially since I don’t like desserts, I thought this was a much better value around €20 per dish. Every dish was a stand out. I particularly loved the sea urchin and mussel caccio e pepe. The kitchen uses local and seasonal ingredients and has beautiful presentation. The service was always on point, I never felt neglected or othered because I was a tourist. There was a good mix of Italians and English speaking tables. You do have to budget about three hours for the entire meal, as there’s plenty of time in between courses to digest. But, overall, if you’re looking for a really great meal to understand how food from this region can be upscaled and elevated, you must try eating at Duo. Grazie!

+1Our romantic dinner at DUO Ristorante was an unforgettable culinary journey. We opted for the eight-course Verde Mare tasting menu with wine pairings, and it was such an adventure from start to finish. Our sommelier and waiter, Sebastian, was incredibly knowledgeable and professional, guiding us expertly through the pairings. The chef’s welcome dish, a collection of seven amuse-bouches, set the tone for an evening full of delightful surprises. The sweet lemon dish with capers and anchovy paste was especially unexpected, while the amberjack was a true standout. The atmosphere was elevated by unique sculptures on each table—ours was a charming bulldog named Carlos, adding a playful touch to the refined setting. We couldn’t have asked for a more memorable evening!

I was the first to be seated of the night. I appreciate smaller fine dining restaurants and Duo has a very cozy ambience. The maitre d’s were excellent throughout the night. I went with the full tasting menu and a glass of wine. Each course was unique, visually pleasing, and flavorful. Courses were well-paced and explained thoroughly. I think the price is very reasonable for the experience you get.

9.5/10The chef at Duo was amazing! He was very personable, treated us at our table and explained Apulian cuisine and the various. dishes. His "welcome dish" from the chef consisted of five wonderful little starters or 'amuse bouche' as they are often called. Just amazing! The two pastas we had were just on point, and our seafood plate after was perfectly prepared. Duo's menu is very creative but honors the flavors of Apulian. It was a wonderful meal.

Not the cheapest but quality was very good. We had the 6 course taster menu with paired wines. I loved every dish, but my wife wasn’t keen on two of the starters. Standard was fantastic but these 2 weren’t to her taste. We had a chat with the chef which we both really enjoyed. If you can afford it I recommend, if you’re on a budget it’s not for you.

9.5/10Great restaurant and friendly helpful start. Chef spent time at every table making them feel welcomed. The food is delicious and of high quality. The chef’s starts was impressed with unexpected flavours, which can be described as multi-sensory cooking. Would highly recommend. A Michelin star is surely on it way to the restaurant thanks to the chef and its staff.

Small restaurant with a great service team and interesting menu (degustiazione)! Nice combination of traditional resources and new and creative styles of presentation. Calm and beautiful dining room. The chef and the team are dedicated to create an amazing evening for everyone. After our menu the chef stayed over 30 minutes on our table and we had a great conversation about European cuisines and the characteristics of the Apulian one!

7/10We made a real effort getting here and found the Spring tasting menu generally imaginative and well prepared but got turned off by the chef who appeared to berate the staff at every chance and has rude table side manner, ignoring half the table, the half who made the occasion occur. Must recognize a patron who is there to be engaged, not ignored. I will not be going back or recommending this restaurant.

+1I dined solo at this amazing restaurant. The chef himself came out and introduced himself. He described his creative approach to the Pugliese cuisine. The orecchiette were excellent, the fish was impeccable, but the dessert was a different level. I had a lemon mouse with a cap of capers/lemon/basil meringue. The whole experience was outstanding. Hats off!

10/10Duo Restaurant is extraordinary. Anyone visiting Lecce, or even somewhere near Lecce, owes it to themselves to visit. The presentation is remarkable and level of imagination is almost without equal. From the many-course amuse bouche to the wonderful oyster ice cream with caviar to the many-course dessert, the dinner could not have been better. Duo vies with, and in some case exceeds, many three-star Michelin establishments, and at a much better price. Congratulations to Fabbiano and his very attentive staff!

10/10We had a lovely lunch on Sunday and throughly enjoyed the tasting menu. The Cheff came and greeted us personally and explained what he had in store for us. The food was a delight for the palate as well as the eyes. Highly recommend a meal here.

10/10Where to begin? From the welcoming service to the ornery chef to the excellent food Duo did not disappoint. We chose the classic tasting menu with wine pairings and had the opportunity to experience the best interpretations of local foods. We both enjoyed each course and the passion behind the descriptions. The evening was full and well worth the price.
