We had a delicious meal and enjoyed the show cooking! The dishes were very special and flavorful, and the plates were beautifully presented. The chef is excellent! And his wife is a very good hostess. The ambiance of the small restaurant is very atmospheric. In short, we had a very nice evening at Duoo!

Super friendly couple that own and operate this small restaurant- just 12 covers - preparing dishes to order in front of customers. Small bite sized tapas, lovely presentation and taste delicious. Expensive but an experience!

Excellent oysters, beef tartar, mushrooms, etc. The black pig pork was amazing! Best restaurant in portimao!

That was an amazing experience with Catharina&Leandro at Duoo! Great combination of tastes, nice interpretation of legacy & contemporary dishes (algarvian carrots e.g.), very friendly and interactive conversation with cooks/owners. Tomato salad is just mind-blowing🥰. Having had a pleasure and chance to eat in different restaurants with totally different budgets (from low to very high (Michelin 🤩) Duoo is absolutely a highlight and comparable with Beratasegui Ola, still here you feel warmth, heart ❤️ & passion! 100% recommendable! Keep it like that guy & girl😍!

A salada de folhas & tomate & creme de queijo…… absolutely fantastic. Carapau & molho ponzu & pepino…. Very very good.

This is the best meal we’ve ever had in Portugal (and we visit frequently).The talent and creativity of the chefs is incredible.We love the concept of such an intimate restaurant with a small amount of covers, you can really speak to the chefs,watch them prepare the food and understand more about the dishes.I cannot find the words to describe just how delicious the food was,I already want to go back.I’m now telling everyone I know about this place and how they must go!The customer service is also exceptional,nothing was too much trouble.The chefs were even happy to swap one of the dishes on the set menu for us as we’re not keen on oysters although,now I’ve eaten there,I’m sure they would’ve converted us to oyster fans!Thank you for an incredible experience and some of the most delicious food we’ve ever eaten.We will be back!

Excellent food with regional and seasonal ingredients. A small, cozy restaurant with live cooking. Personal and friendly service. I ate the best fish of my life here! Fantastic taste and perfect texture.

+2Both food and service carried a quiet excellence — flavors layered with sophistication, yet so natural they felt like coming home. A tender kind of luxury, more heart than spectacle. Truly a gastronomic experience I’d recommend. Only note: à la carte portions are closer to generous starters, and the seating less than kind to a body of 164 cm. As well as a bit warm inside, on a hot summer evening.

Everything was perfect. There was a. Misunderstanding over the bill but that was due to the forks .misleading us.

The idea of the concept is amazing but the performance is not so well. Main point is in the open kitchen where guests could see how food is prepared but actually you can not see many things as chefs work under the table besides one assistant who was peeling the grapes and washing the dishes. The food was average. Altough the chefs tried to present it nicely. But honestly a bit overpriced for the presented ingredients. 3 stars for the interesting idea but chefs should work more on the tastes if they want to keep their customers. Also chefs don't manage to pour on time the drinks and to serve all the guests. Maybe the assistant could help with that instead of doing regulat kitchen routine. Still we liked the idea of the concept but it has to be improved a lot. Especially the food itself.

+1We like the energy of the Duo. Food was nice, innovative. We had sparking wine as they offer only a limited wine by glass. We’d love to come back when are in town.

+4This place is easily the best we’ve eaten in 2 weeks across Spain and Portugal. This is so much more than the fantastic, 11/10 gourmet dishes that the culinary experts the owners make right in front of you. Make no mistake—these dishes are inspired, unique, and offer tastes that combine the local with the worldly. The small flight carte we opted for felt perfect. It would be nearly impossible to choose a favorite! They ALL were, one right after the other. Perhaps the carrot puree? Or the fish or beef? Artistically prepared, plated perfectly, and tasted out of this world. Maybe it was the celery/lime sorbet? Too hard to choose—try them all! The small space is ambient, welcoming, and personal. We chatted with the owners the whole night, and several of the other couples there. If you are truly looking for a find, off the beaten path, friendly and undiscovered, then this is the place. It won’t be unknown for long.
