The service was good - fairly attentive and warm. The food was mediocre and overpriced for the quality. The cheese in the couvert and the dessert were the best part besides the house wine.

A visit to this restaurant won't let you down. Good food, environment and a great variety of wines. I will return for sure.

Every visit to Dux Taberna is outstanding. The food is always fresh, delicious, and consistent. The owner is a delight and always patient with my Portuguese in progress. I recommend to all my guests who come to visit me here in Coimbra. Stellar.

Watch your bill. They added olives, cheese and biscuits which added to nine euros we did not have. It seems they automatically add this and assume you had it. Otherwise food and wine very good value.

Service was good. Menu offered a good variety and the execution of the food was good. A solid choice for a nice dinner

Great place to have a good time either with friends or your partner. Vitor and his colleagues were quite kind with us. Beverages with good quality. Now talking about the main: Meals were awesome. I completely suggest the "Risotos". Sure thing we'll be back soon. Cheers.

Yes good service, nice people.. very old building smelling mold when you enter the restaurant. the food is average.

I had tuna pica pau and the smoked cod salad and my son had the sirloin steak. Each dish was delicious . The restaurant was very busy with a great ambiance. This is a gem of a restaurant

The food is tasty and huge portions. Service was chaotic and uneven. I did not like that they had the bread, olives and cheese already at our table before asking if we wanted them. We asked for it to be removed and then it was on our bill anyway . The restaurant has wonderful potential, but service influenced our impression.

This was our 2nd visit and loved everything! The atmosphere is amazingly quaint and the staff is very welcoming. The food is amazing, we’ll be back soon!

I was seated near the back of the restaurant and the service was very very slow. I was disappointed. It took a while for the server to even approach my table. The restaurant was not that busy.
