Not the best experience. Cold food, pita included. Service was nice but they forgot an order. Felafel to forget

The food here is tasty, you get a nice selection when you order for two persons, plenty of things to share and either a meat or vegan option. Reasonably priced.

Good food and friendly, but portions are small-ish.

Food was great! However, when we went to pay, we were informed that Visa, Mastercard and Amex were not accepted. This was a our last night in Brussels and the server/owner sent us to the nearest ATM which was 0.5 miles away. We went there but the ATM was out of order. We then tried 3 other ATM's, totaling an hour of our time (and probably 2 miles) and were not able to utilize an ATM. I sent the restaurant an email that night explaining that I was very sorry and unable to pay since I couldn't find a working ATM and explained how disappointing it was to be put in this position and that he really should tell people before they order (he responded back with there being a sign at the bar). Well we didn't eat at the bar so how would we have seen it. He then asked me to wire him money. I finally asked him if he accepted Paypal and he does. If he had offered that up at the beginning, my night wouldn't have been ruined like it was. Food was good but service was miserable!

Really great food. Fresh, tasty. Nice service. The restaurant is unassuming but the food is excellent. Try the messenger platters/menu. The lebanese wine was also great

The food was excellent and felt like we were at a Lebanese friend"s home. Very nice formula menus to choose from. We chose the vegetarian, which was the 3rd, which was vegetarian, out of 3 comprehensive menus. . Tarek, our waiter was very pleasant, always smiling, mostly attentive and helpful. He seemed to know very well the food composition and happily explained the respective ingredients. Hana , the chef was very charming, warm, and very personal. The food reflected his character and attention to beautiful presentation and quality ingredients. Decor simple but very clean and quiet, welcoming atmosphere. I'm definitely going back to this lovely jewel of Lebanon with a Syrian touch.

Absolutely delicious and authentic middle eastern food prepared and served with care and love. The restaurant is simple but nice enough and you come here for the great food.

Loved the food. Very authentic restaurant with lovely environment. The background music was good and so was the kindness of those serving us. We ordered several different small dishes and they were all great! Definitely recommended.

Very tasty Syrian-Lebanese food. Plates came with charming presentation and delicate preparation, Falafel in their perfect state, not to oily or too big. Excellent balance quality/quantity/price. Staff was quite nice. We'll repeat

Very friendly and pleasant staff; nice atmosphere; good food. The batata harra was a little dry. Good value for money - it’s not as expensive as the average Brussels restaurant. I’d go back once we can dine indoors because outside on the footpath wasn’t ideal, but I’d imagine indoors will be very pleasant.

Dear Shanna, your opinion is very important for us so we thank you for your review and your remark concerning the batata harra, we took it seriously and did the necessary to avoid such a thing in the future. we are looking forward to welcome you soon again.

We ordered the 2 person menu and it was a wonderful meal. We've tried lots of Lebanese so we know a bit about it and the quality is superb. The owner and server were friendly and attentive. They gave us a little wireless bell so we could ring if we needed anything. They were attentive anyway but it was a nice touch. The terrace is small with only two tables so check to see if they have a table. The good thing is then you get to eat more privately without a crowd. Try it and you won't be disappointed.

We shared 3 'East@West' platters between 6 people (one platter was vegan). The food was extremely flavourful, abundant and worth the price. Our server was extremely organised and attentive. This was one of our best dining experiences in Brussels. And one of the best Lebanese/Syrian cuisine places! Do not miss it!

This is the second time I go back to this restaurant. It amazing. The price is fair. The atmosphere is cozy. The music in background suggestive. The food so tasty. But, the best touch is the service, the owner is so kind!

We were looking for a place that would offer also but not only vegan options and this was the perfect choice. We had excellent food in a party of 7. Nice service and good ambiance. Very recommended!!

The restaurant has really great potential, very important the dishes are of excellent quality and are really something different and bring the middle east kitchen in a good variety, Syrian dishes which were unknown to me were great. I choose the vegetarian section, which was a real surprise. I told the owner to change a bit to the interior to make it more a bit of an oriental restaurant and not so much a fastfood outlook. Next time I will see if he followed my advice.

Wonderful Middle Eastern food! We ordered two assorted plates, one cold and one hot. Both were delicious, and served with some of the best hummus and baba ganoush we’ve had in Brussels. The dessert, a kind of a custardly thing over a orange blossom scented cake and topped with pistachios was sublime. Friendly and courteous service. Our new favorite!
