Bread was delicious. Shrimp appetizer horrible. It was a pile of tiny, unseasoned, uncooked shrimp served with a slice of plain white toast. The quesadilla was ok…. Tasted like the nachos from New York Pizza. The bavette steak was incredible! Best dish by far. Drinks were good. The interior was gorgeous. It was nice but I probably wouldn’t return for a second visit.

The right setting for a family of four celebrating a 25th marriage anniversary. Each of us had a starter, a main dish and a desert, what makes a selection 12 items from the kitchen. Everything was of excellent taste and quality, except for the black angus steak I had, which was bit on the stringy side with chunks of fat. However everything else, the sides, the sauces, the vegetables and all the other dishes were far over expectation. Wine (white, from slovenia and spain) was exquisite. Very nice waiter getting enthusiastic over the menu of the restaurant. Definite recommendation.

Food and service is outstanding. Price-value is also very good. There are locations in a better setting in Katwijk but the service and food makes you forget about that easily.
