9.5/10This small out of the way restaurant lives up to all the good reviews. Although they didn’t have an English menu the waitress gave us a mobile with translation app - perfect. Gorgeous food and service - would definitely recommend and return when next in Toledo

10/10Me & my partner chose this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary during our stay in Toledo, the food options were a lot, the quality was amazing and it's a good value for money vs. other restaurants. I ate duck and it was really good, would definitely recommend this place

8/10The main course was great but the up-charging of bread we didn’t ask for at 2€/piece is outrageous, 2.50€ for a tiny plate of olive oil and charging for water after I asked for tap water would make me not return or recommend this restaurant to others. Tip was also charged on top of the meal price which I have never had added on top of the listed price at any other restaurant in Spain. All of these factors made a very nice meal unpleasant in the end.

Hi nicole; The price of €2 is not a charge for bread but for service, in Spain in restaurants an amount is charged for service, which normally includes laundry services and cloth tablecloths, never bread. We NEVER include tips in the bill, surely you have confused the MANDATORY tax of the state (VAT 10%) please check your invoice.

10/10This little restaurant was familiar and clean. The customer were really handsome and profesionals. The food was really wonderful and the plates were presented in a really, really very good presentation. Only one thing, maybe a little expensive.

9.5/10My experience at El Albero this past Wednesday was excellent. The service is very good and paid attention to every details that make us felt welcomed. The food was very tasty with a proper portion. The homemade olive was so deliciously that we asked for more. My wife ordered fish (turbot) and it was very tender and tasty. I ordered bull tail stew and it was melt in my mouth. I would come again if I visit Toledo again.

9.5/10I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at El Albero. I was visiting Toledo just for the day with a group of friends and had made a prior reservation. There was a little bit of a wait for our table to be ready for us, but after that, things went very smoothly. The food was delicious and the level of attention and service from the restaurant staff was high. I definitely recommend this restaurant when you're visiting Toledo.

9.5/10A little quiet on arrival as they were just opening. Surprisingly no jamon which we had hoped to share as a starter, but any possible negatives end there. The food and the service were absolutely outstanding and we both thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful meal. After a couple of complimentary starters we shared an artichokes with ham. Then the partridge with white bean stew and a fabulous pork presa with ( to die for) fries and a boletus slice. Usually we would give in gracefully at that point but ( you’ve guessed it) the desserts were also out of this world: a Creme Catalan foam and a selection of home made ice cream - including an astonishingly good olive oil variety. It might need a short taxi ride from Toledo Old Town but don’t even think of hesitating; this restaurant is the real deal!

10/10Lovely restaurant. Food was full of flavour and beautifully prepared and presented. The waitress helped us pick a bottle of wine which complimented our orders. Atmosphere and service was very good. We would definitely recommend.

10/10Superb lunch, Based on Trip Advisor reviews we selected this restaurant and were not disappointed. Shared two appetizers (artichokes with ham and oxtail stew) and the roast lamb. Every dish including two additional free apps and a rich dessert were excellent. Not a single weak element including food and service. Very highly recommended. It is a small place so make a reservation to be sure you get a table.
