These types of sea food are always surprising: great service, great humour and above all an atmosphere from the 90es when food was enjoyed slowly and in a good company.

Great sea food place.

Only frustrated with the fork reservation. The restaurant did not have it, ao it was lucky that there was some free tables. As for the restaurant, only remark was related to the invoice. For some reason did not allow to split the bill. Very strange.

The food was ok but pricing wasn’t. It’s very expensive for the quality of food. Fried calamari was not very good. The seafood rice dish was bland boring.

Great food and service. Jorge always providing that high professional level. The Sole was great as always. With the outdoor terrace now open and comfortable the buzz on a Sunday afternoon was great.

Great service. Food was okay without coming close to the reputation of the restaurant

El Barri is a chain of tablecloth restaurants in Madrid that spawned from the success of the original restaurant in Salamanca. Last night's experience was shockingly poor: very slow and unprofessional service and no wine nor water service. We're informed they have run out of items we had ordered from the menu only as they bring the main dishes out. Thus two in our group had to wait for their second choice to arrive one of the two was brought cold. The portion of my turbot was a ripoff at €28. Will not go back. Any of the neighboring restaurants on the Morlaeja Plaza should be a better choice.

Food very good. Service slow. I had to poor myself wine and water many times since waiter was always busy with something else.

Nice setting and although we were early they came immediately, the food was really good and the advice of the wine as well. It is indeed a bit pricy but also because it's in an expensive area. For sure we will go back
