Perfect food and service!

We visited this restaurant based on our hotel's recommendation and the fact that one could have dinner before 8:30 PM. Food was excellent as was the service, including the sommelier's attention and help. Great menu that offers a good selection of fish and paella entrees.

The food is fantastic and the service is also very good. We visited this restaurant a few times over the years and it stayed really good and we were every time really happy. We'll come back the next time we come to madrid. We ordered from ox tail to paellas and everyone was really happy.

Mediocre experience. The first 3 menu items (not specials but standards) we tried to order? They were out. I was the last to order and felt like asking “can you tell me what you do have?”. I was “up sold” on my Vermut aperitif but not impressed. The atmosphere is set to be upscale, but I would look around if you want a fine dining experience.

It was the most formal dining we did on this trip. Several different waiters. The food was another story. Our paella seafood special was a pan with rice and a scarce amount of seafood that was horribly overcooked. The local wine we had was nice. The people next to us had a worse experience as their paella was forgotten and they never seemed to get their drinks. Overall it reeks of a tourist restaurant with a fine china front.

Our hotel concierge recommended this place for seafood and we are thankful! We’ve ordered paella and it was very tasty. We thought the fried calamari were fresh and delicious.

Great ambiance and seafood, but that wasn’t enough to make up for the terrible service from wait staff to the manager. We had to ask our server several times for water refills and drinks and no one seems to enjoy working there. It’s too bad because the food was good but the experience is not worth it to go back.

Thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. Gazpacho was delicious as was the Lubina a La Sal. Washed it all down with perfectly chilled bottle of Albariño. Staff were helpful and courteous. What’s not to like? 10/10

This appeared to be a smart upmarket restaurant - which is reflected in the decor and surroundings. However, the service was lacklustre with the waiter forgetting our wine order within seconds of us placing it! The promise in the menu was that the steak tartare would be prepared at our table but it was not, The food was the most disappointing aspect of our meal, with everything over seasoned and over salted. Our tuna tartare starter was overwhelmed by the soy sauce and other seasoning which dominated the dish, so that we could not appreciate the subtle flavour of the tuna.

Our first meal here was good. So we came back, what a mistake the meat was raw, fish yuck and the service disappointing. I am hoping the spring break crowds impacted quality. But it was not a good experience.

A place where more attention is paid to the Spanish than to the tourists. The courtesy shown to the Spanish who ordered calamari and cola was not shown to us who ordered oysters and quality wine for some reason.

We came here for the paella and we were so happy we did! Lobster paella was delicious and more than enough for two people. Exactly what we wanted for an authentic experience in Madrid. We also had amazing tender and slightly deliciously salty artichoke flowers and a tomato tartar. The service was very attentive and friendly.
