the character and atmosphere were perfect for our group of 3 adults. Would not suggest for families with small children. The menu was classic Milenese with some modern touches. Service attentive without being obtrusive.

10/10El Brellin is on a site of an old laundry, and has kept the theme. Everything about the place was excellent, food, drinks and service. Bellisimo!

10/10The location of the restaurant was great. The ambience of the restaurant was great. Food was tasty. And the waiting staffs were great handling all of us (15 people)! Parking was the only issue, but I guess the neighborhood does not offer so much nearby parking options.

4.5/10This might have been a good restaurant in the past. Not any more. I ordered the most expensive item in the menu, Osso Bucco with risotto Milanese (€32) and was very disappointed to find it had no discernible flavour. Not even a hint of saffron, no bone marrow and no cheese. No seasoning at all. The Ossi Bucco was passable, but I saw much better being served on the canal. It has a good location. Overpriced wines too. Take a pass on El Breslin.

Food was good but number of fruit flies / mosquitos was so annoying. We spent entire meal swatting away the bugs so they wouldn’t land on our plates or in our wine glasses.

5.5/10Set up was really tight and had to ask the staff to move other tables and chairs so we could sit around our table of 5 that we reserved in advance. The food was disappointing with flavourless fried risotto, hardly any cheese on it and over thinned dry veal. The waiter took the empty plates away while others in the party were still eating, and someone even had their plate picked up while still chewing their last bite. Toilet was simply disgusting with paper all over the floor and a filthy cubicle. Needless to say we left swiftly.

7/10Nice location on canal but at the back of the building so no view. Our starter (Zucchini Flan) was very nice as was our dessert (Tiramisu). However one of the Primi plates we ordered (potato gnocchi) was bland. The other Primi (tagliatelle with asparagus) was quite good but both the main dishes (sea bream and lamb) were both very bland and disappointing.

Food was good not spectacular. Good wine list, and generous pour by the glass. Tournedos Rossini could have been more generous with the foie gras. Osso buco and Risotto were correct. Desserts ok. Expensive for what it was.

5/10The restaurant vibe was beautiful and within minutes of it opening it became full. The good things end there. The wait staff seemed most concerned with getting us out of the restaurants as soon as possible. They offered passive aggressive and mean responses to questions about the menu. When we asked for a recommendation between 2 options, the waiter scoffed and said “everything.” When we asked about a wine, the waiter again said “everything.” There was zero desire to help or provide any suggestion. The food was also sub par. We left half the food because it was over cooked or not flavorful.

9/10Best osso buco I have had in a long time. Soft and tender meat and great risotto. Enjoyed the chianti as well. Service was adequate but didn't overwhelm. Lovely place to eat.

6.5/10Food was okay. But not up to expectations. Classic dishes very good. However I ordered beef sirloin in truffle butter and it had no butter at all nor truffles anyway. Also it was served with a grilled lettuce or something really bitter. Impossible to swallow. Disgusting.
