Very amazing place in a hidden spot in Tirso de Molina. Beautiful decoration and shop.

We love this restaurant because the space is beautiful, they are very relaxed about letting you linger for your meal (you don’t feel rushed) and the food is quite good. It’s also a great place for a bigger group (eg. 8-10). Would definitely recommend!

The service was plentiful and the food choices were outstanding, very well presented and delicious! The ambiance was lovely with nice lighting and the bar was fantastic. Downstairs the local artisan shop was special. We enjoyed our Christmas dinner very much.

A lovely airy room with lots of space between tables and comfortable seating. Really excellent value menu de dia, simple but well executed.

Delicioso! Y the wait staff were wonderful. A very down to earth vibe.

Pulpo and Pork Cheeks were too salty. Pork Cheeks arrived more than an hour after ordering. Terrible staff service, there was a language barrier as the staff didnt know how to speak english but the approach/behavior was unacceptable and rude. We literally saw her do an “eye roll” while we were conversing with the waitress.

Limited menu choices but waiter was knowledgable. Disappointed no outside seating although venue was nice. Wouldn’t rush to go back.

The worst service and the quantity of the food! Very pricey there are a lot of places with better quality and service sorry but it’s getting very bad

The food is consistently good with a great variety of choice. The restaurant has the feel of an expensive restaurant but the menu is affordable for everyone. I have been twice and will go again….

El Imparcial is a perfect mix of traditional Spanish dishes with a modern twist and funky ambience. The service was wonderful, our waiter was attentive and offered helpful recommendations. We ordered the huevos rotos, atún, and tarta de queso. Everything was delicious, but the huevos rotos in particular blew us away. They took this traditional Spanish dish and enhanced it with a mix of sweet potatoes and truffle. I'm a US expat living here in Madrid and this is definitely going on my list of places to recommend and take visitors, it's a hidden gem!

I’ve been going to el imparcial for more than 5 years. It’s always a great experience!

El Imparcial offered the perfect rendezvous for four friends from New York City and Los Angeles, gathering in the heart of Madrid. The space, steeped in history, radiated charm with its artful blend of old-world elegance and modern design. We were enveloped in an atmosphere both intimate and grand. El Imparcial transcends the ordinary, offering not just a meal but an experience, where conversation flows as freely as the wine, and the joy of dining is elevated to an art form. It’s a place we will carry with us, just as we carry the memory of that evening together in this beautiful city.

Really friendly people, creative ambience, good quality of food. And I liked the fact that they asked whether I wanted bread and then.. they did not charge for it! (some places do not ask and then they charge you 7-8 euros)

The mushroom risotto was outstanding. Great service and the price was more than reasonable for the quality of food and wines. Highly recommend!

Loved the ambiance - such a lovely setting above a cool bookstore, beautifully decorated and very relaxing. The food was great, especially the "huevos rotos" with sweet potato, Parmesan and truffle; and the Banoffee pie! Will definitely return, if I come back to Madrid!

Excellent food and ambiance; sometimes service is slow… but that’s okay!

We went for Sunday brunch after reading good reviews in the past. We expected the place to be busy but there was only one other table eating when we arrived at 11.45 Perhaps due to the lack of customers, the service was incredibly slow and nobody came in to check on us. The food was disappointing and mediocre. There was a lot of dry bread that appeared stale. For the price we paid, it was extremely disappointing. The room and environment are lovely but that's where it begins and ends. If you're thinking of going there for brunch, don't bother. There are far nicer and cheaper options elsewhere.

Venue is lovely and food good, but noise levels are definitely a problem in this place. Difficult for a large party to communicate/hear each other…

Everything was perfect. We had a tuna tartar, mussels, artichokes, and cuttlefish for dinner. The food was delicious, the best tuna tartar I've ever eaten. One of the dishes wasn't perfect, we asked to replace it, and they did it apologizing without any problem. The service was great! Definitely 10/10

El Impartial never disappoints. The space is beautiful and we always have delicious food and wonderful service. My husband and I visit regularly and have also brought friends and visitors to Madrid. People are always impressed.

They had run out of 50% of the menu items however Alexander looked after us superbly and we had a wonderful time and will return. They were great with allergies and the food came out quick despite being super busy

Had the 22€ brunch - we had to ask to take away part of the main course because the portions were so big! The menu offers great variety of food (bread with butter and marmalades, a table of cheese and jamon with granola yogurt, orange juice and coffee, and a main course to choose between 4 options (burger, pastrami sandwich, eggs benedict and another one I can’t remember). The food was of great quality, the service fast and welcoming. The athmosphere is great, curated interiors and a lot of light. Very recommended!
