Every visit gets better. Mole and Fajitas are our favorites!

They have reported that fewer guests attended. This is not true, 2 people attended and this is confirmed from pics. Food was okay, female waiter was nice, but the guy welcoming us was not particularly empathetic towards its guests.

The restaurant gives 50% off which on the face of it is good. At full price the restaurant is overpriced even for Barcelona. When ordering desert the owner named the desserts so we had no menu and mentioned Baileys tres Elche and DID NOT tell us it was full price at €8.50 for a tiny slice. This really annoyed me. We were actually going to leave a big tip but didn’t as we felt this was a sneaky way of increasing income. Food was lovely.
El Mexicano de BarcelonaHi Joseph, this is the owner, I already had a chat with the manager on this situation, and we are sorry that you feel that way regarding the price and the food, which are in part at that price range due to the quality and authenticity of the ingredients that we use for our dishes, the manager did mention that the tres leches Baileys was an item not listed in the menu, and was the only option due to the fact that the normal tres leches was not available. Also for the desserts, we normally are used to recite it and at any moment you can request the menu, we recite it for the convenience and comfort of the customer, and you are always welcome to inquire the price of the dishes and beverages. We would love to have you again so we can mend this up. Have a good day.

Superb authentic and delicious food, some of the best I’ve tried in BCN. Service was genuine and correct. Portion sizes are correct, yet I do recommend ordering a starter if you’re hungry.

It was my third time going there, food was amazing as always! Only thing I didn’t like was feeling rushed by the waiter to order all the appetizers and the main course at the same time! Apart from this the place is nice and prices are great!

We so enjoyed our time at this authentic Mexican restaurant. The food was delicious, I had the chicken with mole and my wife had the chicken fajitas. They were both absolutely perfect. And our service was excellent. Our server was Ber and he is the consummate professional and guided us through our first visit. It will not be our last!

Good Mexican food in easy ambiance. All plates we tried were very good. Specially mole and carne mechada. A bit noisy due to space.
