10/10What a fabulous find this is. The tapas was so different and delicious! All our dishes were unique we couldn’t say which was favourite. The toasts were so light, and croquettes tasty. The manager was so friendly and welcoming. Felt like we were sitting in someone’s front room - relaxed. Can’t recommend highly enough. Great value too!!!

10/10Excellent small restaurant. Great atmosphere, lovely host and great food and wine. Each course was delicious, our favourite was the smoked mackerel with wasabi mayonnaise on toast, sublime! Highly recommend a visit to this restaurant

+4Fantastic evening at El Olivo, the tapas were all amazing (our favourites were the burrata salad, artichokes with jamon, homemade paté, toast with goats cheese and pears, toast with mushroom, jamon and shrimp, baby squid and the chocolate fondant for dessert)! Wine was amazing too and the service and atmosphere were perfect. Our favourite meal in Alicante, can’t wait to come back!

10/10We had a fantastic experience in both the food and the service. The French manager in particular was very attentive and made us feel very welcome. The recommendations for the food and wine were spot on.

10/10A great tapas and wine bar with reasonable prices and fantastic food & wine. The waitress, Laurie, was super nice and had good recommendations for wine. We even got a dessert wine on the house when we asked for the bill!

9/10The food and service were outstanding! Unfortunately we were seated at the counter where I would imagine they normally use as a hostess/welcome station, in the doorway to the restaurant. So we really don't know much about the ambiance.

10/10Astonished by the quality of the food! Definitely order the croquettes, with the humble staples in this place elevated to a work of art. As is the levitating egg dish ! Peek at the minuscule kitchen where all this big magic occurs. This tiny, tiny place is bound for Michelin, so get in on it now! The couple next to us was so blown over they reserved a table again for next day.

9.5/10Had a really evening at El Olivo, food was very tasty (especially the homemade pate). Laurie was an excellent host and really looked after us - offering suggestions and catering it to what we liked. Would definitely recommend visiting!
