Fantastic food in this cosy restaurant with the best service we have had in Alicante. Thoroughly recommended, but don’t forget to book, they’re very busy and deserve to be!

Our dinner at El Olivo was truly amazing. The food was incredible, the location very nice and cozy, and the staff was so kind and funny. Best place to eat tapas in Alicante!

Food was consistently excellent and the service was warm, friendly and personal without being intrusive. The best meal we had in Alicante and we would love to come back. Special mention to the burrata salad which was incredible!

Amazing little wine bar with excellent tapas! Service is very professional and friendly. Special mention for the homemade « paté de campagne ». I fully recommend and will be back soon.

This is a small bar with limited seats. Welcoming atmosphere, no noise, excellent food that goes beyond standard tapas, good wines and very friendly and knowledgeable service. Recommended.

In an intimate, almost family atmosphere, with impeccable service, speaking Spanish, English and French, the food was a delight!

We may have been a bit more lively than other patrons but we were made to feel extremely welcome by the hostess. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and the whole experience was fantastic. Food, service, everything. You must visit this restaurant.

We had delicious tapas! The welcome and service by Laurie were excellent. Whether it was in English, Spanish, French, or even a bit of Dutch, she always served us with a big smile. The toast with mushrooms and scampi was my personal favorite. We will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This place can’t get enough good recommendations. Make Yourself a treat and just go there to enjoy amazing food. I wasn’t ready for the quality and taste. Beef croquets stole my tongue, burrata salad stole my soul and amazing Woman who served me wine stole my heart. Much love!

What a fabulous find this is. The tapas was so different and delicious! All our dishes were unique we couldn’t say which was favourite. The toasts were so light, and croquettes tasty. The manager was so friendly and welcoming. Felt like we were sitting in someone’s front room - relaxed. Can’t recommend highly enough. Great value too!!!

Excellent small restaurant. Great atmosphere, lovely host and great food and wine. Each course was delicious, our favourite was the smoked mackerel with wasabi mayonnaise on toast, sublime! Highly recommend a visit to this restaurant

+4Fantastic evening at El Olivo, the tapas were all amazing (our favourites were the burrata salad, artichokes with jamon, homemade paté, toast with goats cheese and pears, toast with mushroom, jamon and shrimp, baby squid and the chocolate fondant for dessert)! Wine was amazing too and the service and atmosphere were perfect. Our favourite meal in Alicante, can’t wait to come back!

We had a fantastic experience in both the food and the service. The French manager in particular was very attentive and made us feel very welcome. The recommendations for the food and wine were spot on.

A great tapas and wine bar with reasonable prices and fantastic food & wine. The waitress, Laurie, was super nice and had good recommendations for wine. We even got a dessert wine on the house when we asked for the bill!

Excellent tapas, with diverse and creative flavours, but also including classics. The service is very warm and helpful. I cannot recommend it enough!
