I found this restaurant online and it had fantastic reviews, so I wanted to give it a try. It’s definitely far from the main tourist attractions in Madrid but it’s a hidden gem that not many visitors know about. Definitely be prepared for a slight language barrier, but I LOVED being able to practice some Spanish, and the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was some of the best food I’ve had. Definitely worth the visit and I plan to go here again when I’m back in Madrid.

We had a lovely meal at this fine local restaurant. Cozy outdoor table on a nice evening. The service was terrific and the waiter patiently worked with our poor Spanish. We shared an excellent bottle of Tempranillo. Both our entrees were delicious. My husband had the broiled Cod with grilled onions, sliced garlic, and hot peppers with olive oil. Mine was Hake with clams and a lemon sauce. Clearly a favorite with the locals, I’d definitely recommend for dinner. Price was very reasonable for the service, atmosphere and food!

The service was very nice and efficient. The food is excellent with very good products : the fish was tatsty and the "rabo de toro" excellent. Vegetables are perfectly cooked. Prices of wines are low and very good quality. The restaurant is located in a residential area. Our first dinner in Madrid was great !
