10/10Amazing venue for authentic tapas and good vibes. Ask for the waitress recommendations - cannot go wrong. Incredible value- worth a large tip for the amicable and knowledgeable staff.

9.5/10Great place with good tapas and sangria. We sat outside, the tables were in a slope which was okay but not great. Otherwise the staff was pretty quick and nice, but the main takeaway is that the food was really good.

10/10We had an amazing time here. The service and food were amazing. It offers couzine from the south of Spain and does not disappoint. Delicious chicharon and vermouth from the local region in the south. Definitely something to try.

10/10Great food, very kind waitress and a cool place to eat. The food was just perfect, flavorful and generous. The waitress gave amazing advice about what to eat, the place is a little small but comfortable. Would surely eat again here if our stay wasn't over.

9.5/10Locals only in the place, we were there for New Years Eve (we had a reservation) and there were 20 people waiting outside for a seat. Don't let the small interior or stool seating fool you, this is the read deal for tapas and other traditional foods. The owner was going like a madman but still made an effort chat with everyone, including us with our limited Spanish (he speaks decent English, better than our Spanish!). The whole place is family run and you can tell they all take pride in what they do. Would dine again in a second.

9.5/10We were there for dinner on 31 December. It's important to know the place is tiny so it was a lite tight for our group (12 people). But everything else was very nice. The food was excellent and Chema and his team did everything to please their customers. I would definitely visit again!

8.5/10Charming evening for us with the opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere and enjoy special dishes. The pork crackling was outstanding, the bellota ham was okay but a little dry. As main dishes the stuffed aubergine, octopus with black olive mayonnaise and the oxtail were excellent. A super evening. Thanks to the staff.

10/10Do not judge a restaurant by how many people are in it and how big it is. The food was delicious! This quaint place was perfect for our last night in Madrid. We did the octopus and the beef, the mussels and chicken strips.

10/10The stuff is very friendly and helpful even can’t speak English well. Some dishes very strange for foreigners. Octopus was tasty and smooth. However, taco’s was very small.

10/10Our American -first time in Spain- family of 4 had an excellent experience. Our Spanish is not the best, however the kind server(s) helped us to communicate. We ordered several plates to share and enjoyed all! Our favorite were toasts with tomato’s/special ham/ and cheese. The artichokes are the best we’ve ever had. Great wine selection as well. We loved that we had a authentic meal in our new favorite city.

9/10Vibrant tiny spot with a great vibe and exceptional food! Loads of people laughing and having fun. Each dish was well prepared. The staff seemed cheerful and happy while they rushed around serving and chatting.

10/10We had booked and when we turned up it was smaller than we expected. The man who served us suggested that we trusted him and he ordered a few tapas dishes for us. Each one was amazing and each was so delicious. The service was excellent throughout

10/10Absolutely wonderful. The food was superb, the staff welcoming and tolerant of our on existant Spanish, the atmosphere joyous. If I had to say anything negative perhaps the music inside was a touch loud.... But that added to the celebration.

9.5/10This place was really good. We asked the waiter/owner to recommend dishes as we unsure of the menu. Everything he recommended was excellent. It's a small restaurant but had a good local atmosphere. Would definitely say go if you are in the area.

Ya que te has encargado de escribir en todas las plataformas, te voy a contestar. Cuando se va a un restaurante, se va con dinero. Lo que no se puede venir, es 4 tíos 4 como castillos de grandes, beber 8 cervezas de litro, 8 brochetas de carne de alta calidad, y querer pagar 10€ por barba. Ya me has hecho perder el tiempo 2 veces. El día de tu cena, que como solo hablas tú Idioma, no entendías ni el mío ni el inglés, para entenderme a mí o leer la carta, pues solo pediste esas brochetas, y sobre todo me hiciste perder el tiempo para cobrarte. Ya que entre los 4 no llevabais 30€ Para pagar la cuenta. Hoy también siento que pierdo el tiempo por contestarte. Pero a la gente como vosotros, hay que deciros las cosas, incluso, negaros la entrada a los restaurantes decentes. Os merecéis ir a los peores burguér de la ciudad y que os den agua de grifo. Aun así, espero que hayas disfrutado de tus días de visita a nuestro maravillosos País. Si vuelven, no se les ocurra venir por ninguno de mis restaurantes. Un salud

10/10What a find! If I could give more than 10 points I would!!! El Ponientazo is a must when in Madrid. Located only a few steps from Plaza Mayor this is a very cozy little restaurant with amazing food. Very attentive service! We will be back. Thank you
