10/10We are from Singapur and our first time to Malaga. It’s a long way to get seafood but we were not disappointed at all. Great food and superb service!! This restaurant should represent what all Spanish people are…like family, very kind, very warm, honest and all about good food. My wife and I will remember this experience (and the dessert drink from the ‘Captain’) for a very long time. Thank you to the La Subasta family!!

6/10Chaotic service with starter plates arriving after main courses, some were finished their meals before others had even got their starters. I was finally served my prawn starter only for my steak to arrive one minute later with no room on the table to set it down, a disaster in service. In saying that the restaurant is lovely and the food was good with an apologetic manager for the mistimed orders. Maybe we caught them on an off day and I would give them another try.

10/10The food was 1st class. The waiter provided us with lots of information and recommendations with the food as it was our first time in Spain. It off the main high street which means it wasn’t too busy and would definitely recommend to any body staying/visiting Sevilla

10/10celebrated 60th birthday at El Postiguillo - food good, staff service excellent. we were so lucky we booked as it actually rained. everything perfectly timed. my favourite dish was the aubergines with 🍯. yum 😋

5/10Overall food came out 50/50 for quality and taste. Oxtail and pork shoulder filet were good whereas pork chicks were dry. What was disappointing was very poor customer service — being dismissive or passive aggressive on small requests like requesting a sauce for a bland dish. Overhyped for what’s being offered.

This is the second time we go to Sevilla and dine here. Definitely did not disappoint. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great food & the sangria is delicious. Highly recommend it.

10/10The tapas is really good and the staff very friendly. We've eaten there twice already and are heading back again next week! Also like the bull themed decor and 40 foot ceilings create a really cool atmosphere - must have been a barn years ago. Best to reserve 4 or 5 days ahead to avoid the outside wait.

3/10Been here twice before but do not know what's happened, forgot my partners meal completely, so we dined 'alone' then charged for olives that we did not get! Not enough staff (3) but still seated people who asked for tables. We watched two couples who got tired of waiting leave @

Everything about the restaurant was wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful and delicious. We had both types of sangria, and the cava white wine version was really special. I especially liked the duck. Highly recommended!

9/10Enjoyed a very nice meal here….buzzing atmosphere, interesting decor (many stuffed bull heads on the walls!)….food came pretty fast tho a long gap between tapas and platas! Steak overcooked but good flavour, lovely grilled veg. Had lovely bottle of rosado wine….so ordered another! Pricing really reasonable!

6/10I am a regular customer living in Sevilla and make reservations often. I was shocked that my 12 top table was not able to order tapas. I was told "the manager" said we had to order full plates. I also noticed that the English menu did not include tapas, only the Spanish menu had the option of having tapas. I sincerely hope this is not targeting tourists to pay for full plates. This was NEVER mentioned. Next time I will reserve 3 four top to have tapas. Moveover, the service was severely lacking. I will reconsider returning to what was one of my favorite places.

Hi Heidih, you must not to be so suspicious. We serve only full plates for EVERY group bookings (instead of a prefixed menu, required for groups on weekends). I am sure that we warn you about it when you booked. You can see menus with tapas in Spanish, in English and in several languages... but for small tables.

A great restaurant and highly recommended. Tasty food and good value for money. We ordered a jug of sangria for the 3 of us and had at least 2 glasses each. For mains we get for the duck fillets, fried cuttlefish and grilled pork shoulder all very tasty and cleaned plates as a result!

4.5/10Poor service. Average food. We had a reservation for 19h but were rudely told to wait at the door until 19h15. Completely inconsiderate toward children and strollers. Had to collect our own high chairs. Food arrived at staggered times and one meal was forgotten about. Waited 15 minutes after asking for the bill to receive it.

9.5/10Absolutely spectacular. Food was excellent. Many options for our group with various tastes. Our waiter helped us with any questions we had. The portions were good size and shareable. We tried the crispy shrimp which came out unexpectedly as flat cakes and were delicious! Artichokes very good. Eggplant was crispy and well flavored. Overall we loved this place. It was very busy but service was still very good. A line out the door to get in when we left-make a reso!!
