Burrito. There is a quiet courage in a lady ordering a burrito while dressed in ivory. A soft, immaculate sweater— the color of restraint, of clouds that have never known rain— rests gently on her shoulders, unaware of what is to come. Because a burrito does not forgive. It is abundance wrapped in a fragile promise, a constellation of rice, beans, salsa, each ingredient whispering, “I will fall.” She holds it like a secret, tilts her head like a strategist, calculates angles as though this were geometry and not hunger. But gravity is patient. And salsa— salsa is inevitable. A single drop escapes, a red confession blooming on ivory silence. And in that moment, she is no longer pristine— she is human, radiant in appetite, in risk, in choosing joy anyway. So she eats the burrito. And lets the sweater remember this day as the moment she chose flavor over fear.

Authentic Mexican place with delicious food. Service is sometimes a bit slow during lunch hours but okay. Always happy to come back!

The food was lovely. Perhaps we arrived on the wrong day (they were busy receiving stocks), but service took very long time, even though the room was almost empty. We were sitting on the second floor, and the "smoke" from the kitchen was quite strong at moments. However, I have been before and had a better experience, so perhaps just the wrong day.

Price too high, especially for the drinks. Place very small and all the tables close to each other. Seats, couch, and tables really in the bad shape and old.

Any American expat will tell you one of the things you miss most is Mexican food. This place delivers. Mole is fantastic. Green sauce honestly super solid given the ingredient limitation, Chipotle sauce damn good. Guacamole great. Shrimp and chicken moist and perfectly cooked. Mezcalitas were AMAZING. Chips are legit. We can’t wait to go back!!

El Quetzal is so far the best Mexican food I have had in Brussels. The restaurant is really warm and colourful and the staff are all very nice. We had two group dinners for work there and everyone was very happy. I recommend the Tacos El Quetzal!

Enjoyed a wonderful evening at the restaurant with my girlfriend. The upstairs atmosphere was fantastic, albeit a bit lively. The host went above and beyond, ensuring a fantastic experience. We had decent nachos and delightful birria tacos, though the drinks took a bit longer to arrive. All in all, I would definitely return.

As a Mexican I could not believe I was eating huitlacoche in Belgium ???? The food was good. I would go back given there are not many places that taste *almost* as good as eating in Mexico.

The most authentic Mexican food I have had in Brussels. The quesadillas were just perfect and the enmoladas super delicate and tasty, the best black mole I have tasted outside of Mexico. The drinks were okay, maybe not to the same high standards as the food but who cares. Super friendly service. Highly recommended !!

The food was good but it is not acceptable to wait for the food for over an hour, certainly not AT LUNCHTIME
