Our waitresses for the evening Sol and Georgina made this experience extra special. They were very attentive and knowledgeable about our food and wine. The food speaks for itself, absolutely stunning, but the ambience was relaxed and informal within the beautiful surroundings. Would highly recommend for a special treat whilst on holiday.

10/10This was a wonderful experience all round. A peerless location on el Sardinero beach, but quiet enough, with a background hum of activity as the delicious offerings came, one by one. We were well looked after, and the pace of the evening was great, with no pressure to move us on despite being a large group. ¡Gracias!

7/10The place is really unique, the food is according to a one star restaurant but the service is really poor (even a bad behavior from one individual, I think we had bad luck…but for one Michelin star restaurant I was very disappointed)

My first Michelin star experience and it was pretty amazing! The location, then he view hits you first! Followed by very friendly and professional staff; A great start! The tasting menu came next and what we received was 4 hours of amazing local produce presented with skill and love! Paired with great wines! A gastronomic extravaganza!

7/10The service was robotic and a little too mechanical. Also the larder tasting menu is slightly long. The dishes were delicious though. Our waitress was fairly into herself and kept disagreeing with us. At first the welcome drink was the end of a bottle so was flat. I asked to replace and about 4 times she said the new one would be the same but it wasn’t. Then you should have seen her face when I asked for butter for my bread. Anyway. All in all wouldn’t go back but didn’t feel like it was to bad as the meal itself was delicious.

10/10we took the full degustacion menu with wine tasting. Usually in these menus with many dishes, there is always at least a "weak" one. not here: every single one was worth praising, with unique twists and exceptional taste

Typical Michelin star restaurant. Excellent ingredients prepared creatively with professional service. If you’re looking for a Michelin star experience I highly recommend El Serbal. Besides, having Michelin star, quality dishes and service, the view from the dining room is spectacular.

10/10The restaurant was a wonderful surprise on entering - it overlooked the Sarindero beach - we had a window table to enjoy the fabulous view. The staff were very pleasant and very knowledgeable about each course as well as the wine - we enjoyed the wine pairing with each course. Every dish was excellent and we couldn't have been more satisfied with the whole experience. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

8/10Our visit to the restaurant was disappointing. From being seated at the table at 8.35 pm, we didn't get to our first bite of food - bread - until 9.15 pm. Only 1 person from the staff spoke English and presented us the evening menu. Unfortunately, he then left and the food could not be properly presented. We chose the traditional 5 course menu, which did not disappoint, but did not impress. It was certainly prepared from very high quality ingredients, but taste-wise it did not leave any unforgettable culinary experience. What surprised us, however, was that the menu has been served the same way for several weeks (months) without change, see photos of other guests and even with the same presentation on the plate, not reflecting seasonality, etc. The staff were probably not in a good mood that evening as they didn't really look after us as you would expect in a Michelin star restaurant, there was a sense of tension between them.I have to commend the very nice lady who looked after us afterwards and tried to speak English with us, making our dinner more enjoyable. We would definitely not return to the restaurant.

The restaurant is fabulous and in a wonderful position overlooking the beach at Sardinero. The staff were friendly and welcoming and spoke very good English! The cocktails, food and wine were all extremely good and the wine pairing really complimented the food well. The waiter described the wine well and suggested the flavours we would experience and we did.

10/10El Serbal is a great way to experience Michelin star dining at an affordable price. My family and I opted for the Tasting Menu option, which included 4 appetizers, a soup, a fish, a meat, and 2 desserts. We also added on the option to taste 7 wines which were curated with each of our courses. The experience was unforgettable and I would definitely do it again!

10/10Waiters knew the food and wine that they were serving. One of the persons in our party did not want to eat meat and they immediately adjusted the tasting menu with excellent choices. The views to the sand and the sea were fantastic. But the most important thing was the excellence of the food and wine pairings.

10/10Delicious food and wine flight as part of the gastronomic tasting menu. Really memorable dishes included the local beef starter and the cheese ice cream dessert. Fabulous service, beautiful location right in beach, and telexed atmosphere - would highly recommend
