This was my second visit to this place, and once again I was impressed by its magnificent Art Deco décor, clearly created with great care and attention to detail. The food selection is very good and reasonably priced. The wine list is solid as well, although it would be even more appealing if it included some older vintages, as most of the wines I noticed were under four years old. What truly enhances the experience, however, is the staff. A restaurant is a place to spend quality time while enjoying good food and drinks, and a welcoming, smiling, and attentive team is the foundation of that experience. From time to time, the restaurant also hosts live concerts, so it’s worth checking the website for these special evenings. All in all, this is a place frequented by locals rather than tourists, offering beautiful décor, tasty and honest food, and an excellent team.

I am a regular customer. And i have to be honest..ot used to be an amazing place. Now i would say it is a great place. Less good thzn before..especially Icecream as desert. Please keep up with the great.food

The ambiance and service were excellent, early in the evening. As the place filled up, both suffered badly. The menu looked good, but the execution was off. I wanted to like it, but in the end it’s a tourist place for fellow Americans. It is not terrible, but certainly not memorable.

Nice restaurant, attentive staff, food and wines all good. But it was expensive! We definitely paid over the odds, which was a shame.

My favourite restaurant in Brera. We stopped by for lunch before and the service and the food were so good we decided to go back. The atmosphere is wonderful, charming and elegant, many local business people at lunch time. Expect attentive unpretentious service. Wine list is carefully selected and the deserts are made on site Just wonderful!

El Tombon was a great find. Booking was easy through The Fork and the team had the reservation when we arrived. The menu fits of two sides so it’s not lengthy but it all sounds great and the options that we went for were both delicious. Not huge portions substantial enough and done really well. The wine list was as long as the food menu and the staff were happy to answer any questions that we had. The venue is clean and the art décor styling adds an underattended elegance to the place. Prices are a little steep but worth it if you’re looking for something a little special.
