We had a table booked for 5.30pm on new years eve as that was the only time available. We were aware of 2 set menus for the and politely enquired if the non fish eaters could get some startes from the vegetarian menu. The older waiter acted like we had asked him to solve world peace waving his arms a out and being extremely rude. I told him is shouldn't be an issue considering the me us are already prepared for the night and also had to argue that he go and ask the chef if it was the huge problem he made it out to be. There was nobody else in the restaurant at the time. The chef was very obliging and gave us some fantastic food. Unfortunately runpelstillskin and his cohorts couldn't wait to get us out standing over us while we ate and whipping plates away before we were finished. The waiting staff could wait to get us out. Food qas nice the waiting staff absolutely atrocious rude and unkempt.

We made a reservation for 7.30pm. When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, the tables were not plated, nothing. There was no Xmas dinner. They were just finished cleaning the afternoon session and had no appetite for evening guests. Fine, but why accept a reservation when you are not ready and interrested in it?

They said they didn't have our booking, however we convinced them to prepare a table for us. Then they offer us the set menu. One of us is allergic to onions so we requested if we could have a menu without onions. They said yes, but then the metre came and said that it was not possible, that every plate was cooked with onions. Then we asked if the other person could had the set menu, the metre said "no", we asked why as there was no indication on the menu (other that a minimum request of two for rice dishes). He just said "no" and then said that anyway, when booking we didn't know that there was a set menu, so we were "forced" to order from the expensive "a la carte". We will never go back. Terrible service. The metre was terribly rude and lied to us on several occasions. Also, told us that we should not book through the fork, and gave us a business card to call the directly next time... Of course,the card is already in the bin.
