Lovely food! The roast suckling pig is nice and crispy. The sauce is perfectly match the meat.

Came here for the suckling pig and wasnt disappointed! crispy skin, juicy, fatty (but not top fatty or greasy) and well flavoured! Paired with the black pepper sauce its a must have! Also had the house red (Reserva) which comes by the bottle and again wasnt disappointed. The only slight negative was the limited options for sides but to be honest you come here for one thing (the suckling pig) which didnt leave us much room anyway!

Suckling pig cold and didn't taste of much. Mains very oily. Starters were very good though.

Service is absolutely top notch. Friendly, professional e extremely fast. Food is amazing. Piglet has a beautiful golden crust and the meat is juicy and tender. Sides are decent portion and adequate. Price feels around what it should be, slightly on the higher side.

Ok I had the notion that suckling pig with crispy skin was a dish one must sample in Portugal; our Airbnb checked with his father and he recommended Eliseu dos Leitões. The ambience leans toward formal, service was first rate. Starters - pig croquettes and sheep’s cheese quite good, anchovy spread very salty - were good. The three of us all ordered suckling pig and it all came on one plate. They forgot we asked for salad with no onions. I had to remind them I’d asked for mustard and piri piri sauce. The suckling pig was not hot - I had seen it was under a warming light. Fresh potato CRISPS were served in one large bowl. The house red wine was excellent. Am I glad we went - yes, service was actually good; would I go back - not sure but doubtful. I really wanted to try suckling pig - and now that I have I think there are better restaurants out there, less fancy and less expensive.

Great food, superbly well served in a large portion. The sparkling wine makes the perfect combination with the (not too) heavy milk piglet. Quick service. Easy to find a parking spot in the surrounding area.
