10/10Fabulous small restaurant in the back street of the Centro Storico di Roma. You can dine inside or outside which has heaters. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful giving my wife advice on gluten free dishes. The menu offered many Romano and Sicilian dishes. The ambience was very nice and lively giving us an enjoyable evening. The family on the next table agreed it was excellent. My only observation is your photographs showed tablecloths and the tables were laid out without any. Would I recommend Elle Effe ? ........ definitely !!

9.5/10Good fresh food, well described and beautifully presented. Waiting staff were charming and knowledgeable. Delicious house wines and really good desserts. Good value and a pleasant experience.

10/10Amazing service - all the servers were very attentive and nice! They were particularly sweet with the kids. The food was also very good, and our family has high standards with ties to Italy. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

10/10We were happy that we were able to book a table at Elle Effe for 6pm, and most other restaurants would not start until 7pm. We liked the service, and the food was very tasty. Also it helps that the restaurant is 2 minutes fron my hotel. We had a good time.

7.5/10The prices are higher than comparable restaurants nearby and they do not have an inexpensive house wine. Tables close together and not much atmosphere. Food was well cooked and tasty. Service was friendly. The specials did not list prices but were priced much higher than regular menu items.

Both the boss and staff were kind. I felt treated because everyone was so sweet. The food was quickly prepared. I tried bolognese and it was delicious. The appetizer with octopus was also soft.

5/10Food and drink were tasty. The service charge listed on the menu was 2 Euro, but our menus had a temporary sticker placed over it that said 20%. On top of that, the waitress asked my husband for a 15% tip, which he gave her. I wouldn’t return to a restaurant that tries to take advantage of tourists because plenty of others were happy to have us.

8/10This place is a bit "out of the way" so use your GPS. They have inside and outside seating but, we chose inside and it was fine. Service was good with being seated or the waiter taking our order. I had a Sicilian salad that was good although mostly lettuce with tomato, onion, anchovies and cucumbers. My partner's first was mostly a veg pasta which he liked and filled him up before he had his second dish of salmon that he thought was bit dry but good. It might have been dry because they tried to bring it out while he was still eating his first dish and so it probably sat some. I had the recommended sea bream fish that was brought out whole although the waiter then deboned and filleted the fish before setting in front of me....I enjoyed it. The place was very busy as was the outside when we walked out with most every table full.

10/10One of the best experiences we have had here in Italy at a restaurant. Our server was absolutely outstanding in every way. So intentional, relational, and went above and beyond to be hospitable. Highly recommend!

9.5/10Visited on the second night of our trip to Rome and was the best meal we had. The Sicilian antipasto was delicious with the focaccia. I had the spaghetti scoglio which I would 100% recommend and was my favourite meal of the whole trip - just super tasty.

10/10This restaurant was a perfect find for our family. Location is great, close to Campo de Fiori but peaceful location around the corner. Food was lovely and service even better. We got excellent food & wine recommendations and tried something new based on the recommendation. Kids were treated nice also!

10/10This was great little restaurant close to our hotel and we loved the outdoors as well as the indoor ambiance. The food and service was great. I had the pistachio salmon and side of grilled vegetables. My husband had the pasta bolognese. Phillip the owner was on hand making sure all we're taken care of.

10/10What a wonderful dinner to end our trip to Sicily and Toscana. Everything from salad to fish to pasta to vegetables to tiramisu was excellent. We hope to return.

10/10We sat inside as outside was full. Waiting staff gave us list of specials with the menus and we both ordered the Sea Bass which they then filleted at the table after it was cooked. Food was fantastic we had some Sicilian white wine to go with the fish and finished off with dessert. Best meal we had in Rome!

3.5/10Disapointed. Entrance was served before getting our wine that we had to claim twice and wait 20mn.. After 30mn we received the bill, we had not eated yet. Then we have been waiting 1h15 for our meal, the kitchen"forgot us". Meal was very salty.

6/10Predominantly sicilian cuisine with some of roman dishes. Fast service and an experienced and professional waiter that speaks multiple languages. Food was good but nothing exceptional. Focaccia is a must, caponata well done, tuna fillet nicely done. A bit disappointed by the owner saying that the tables outside are reserved only for those one "who pay in full".

10/10Excellent from beginning to end. The wait staff, bartender, and kitchen staff were all part of a great experience. We got there at 7 before it got busy, but they never lost sight of us. The food and service were exactly what we were hoping the dining in Rome would be!
