Lovely atmosphere, great service, steaks were good quality however a medium rare should not be v rare, I know it’s European but you gotta adjust. They rebooked well and replaced cool chips, very tasty in the end. The linguine de mare was excellent

+2The restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere, the food was delicious, and the staff were all very warm and welcoming. In particular, Ms. Harpreet checked in on us throughout our visit and even gave us a pleasant surprise after the meal, which left us with such a lovely impression of Lisbon.

We loved our meal and experience so much the first time that we went back for dinner on our last night in Lisbon. Amazing food and wonderful service. Can’t wait to come back to Lisbon to go again!

We enjoyed our dinner experience at Em Alta Baixa so much that we went back three times during our stay in Lisbon. The food was excellent and the friendly attentive staff made us feel special. And we appreciated the complimentary cava, chocolates and liqueurs.

I saw the amazing reviews so booked. Maybe it was a bad day but the food was very overpriced and not great quality. Staff were lovely, shame about the food.

Melissa and Eunice were just perfect . The service was at the best. The food just tasty and created. We will definitely come back.

The Staff were courteous, the food was very well presented and of great quality. The price was very reasonable too. Eunice was very accommodating with our garlic allergy and her wine advice. Totally recommend visiting the restaurant

Wow what an incredible meal we had. We had sautéed shrimp to start which were perfectly prepared and deveined and were delicious. My husband raved about the garlic butter with the couvert. We then had grilled octopus. I’m a huge fan of this but this was probably the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the seabass which was also excellent. Simple but perfectly done. We’re not normally sweet people but the other courses were so good so had to have it and it didn’t disappoint. The value for money was excellent. The staff were lovely and very attentive, and the general ambience was great. Very chilled. Couldn’t have asked for better.

+2The food was absolutely delicious!!! The waiters, Manuel and Melisa, were incredibly friendly and helpful. I would also like to mention the bartender—he offered me a small chocolate to go with the port wine, which was a really nice touch! The whole dining experience was fantastic—almost too good to be true! I’ll definitely recommend it to my friends, and if I ever come back, I’ll be sure to dine with you again. Thank you for giving me such a wonderful experience. The starter called “Shrimps with Garlic and Herbs” was my favourite dish! Delicioso 👌🏽

Although the restaurant’s concept is not entirely based on local cuisine, the starters, main courses, and desserts stand out for their successful flavors and presentation. The location is also plus.

The place was lovely, the decoration was amazing, and the people were so nice. They gave us complimentary drinks, which made our day. The food was delicious, and the portions were quite big. A truly beautiful place that made my birthday even more memorable.

The service was another level, the kids wanted just plain pasta so the waitress brought also fries on the house and then some liquor for the adults and chocolates too, really unexpected, the food was great too, even though slightly expensive, but normal for the area

The staff were brilliant we were given a welcome drink and sparkling water. The salmon tartare and baby squid starters were excellent. The octopus main course lovely.

Busy restaurant with good quality food. Does feel like the chain it is but this does not spoil the experience. A safe bet for a tasty meal and very reasonably priced.

lovely waitress, understood nut allergy requirements, but then wrong food delivered which didn't inspire confidence. mushroom risotto was slimey, sea bass overcooked with wierd bitter greens. cod cake was tasty but a bit greasy. vegetarian pasta was a hit. summary: nice staff but food not great.

Fab little restaurant. Menu is varied enough to have something for everyone, with several gluten free options. Food was delicious and the staff were great.

We were greeted in a very friendly manner and although we had to wait for our table for a little bit, they seated us on comfy chairs and offered a drink while we waited. We ordered the tomato tartare and beef tartare for starters and entrecote and chicken supremes for main dishes. The plates were very big and filling, so unfortunately didn't have the stomach to try their desserts, which did sound delicious. The starter dishes were stellar, my boyfriend even said the beef tartare was the best he has ever had. We enjoyed our main courses very much as well. Our last night in Lisbon was definitely a night to remember, and it was a wise choice to choose this restaurant to spend it in.

We had a wonderful evening here - the food was amazing and Alexandre, the manager, made us feel very special. There was a lovely feel about the place - all the waiting staff were so kind and attentive to everyone. It s a very special place and we would thoroughly recommend it.

The food was excellent, and service was thoughtful. The ambience was decent inside. I was originally hoping to sit outside, but the greeter told me my reservation was for inside the restaurant only. I don't recall being able to select an option for indoor/outdoor location, which is my only sticking point given that comment.
