9.5/10A perfect steak with interesting side dishes of baby carrots : aubergine: and rustic potatoes. Service was very attentive and helpful. Wine by the glass very drinkable. A very tasty pudding of apple crumble and vanilla ice cream - not heavy. Well worth the 20 minutes walk down the hill but grateful for the taxi ordered for the return climb!

8.5/10Strange, a few times I'm booking with "TheFork", never ever you get any discount and honestly, these guys need to earn money too, so I'm not asking. But, this is the way "TheFork" is attracting you as a customer, while there will be no discount, so most probably best to book directly with the restaurant and don't spend time & energy on a mobile app fpr a simple task as calling a restaurant, have a human contact....real life.

9.5/10The welcome was friendly and warm. The staff were very attentive. The chef was absolutely amazing, he spent time explaining the steak options to us. The food was delicious. It was my birthday and they provided free cake and pop! It was absolutely wonderful. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough.

5.5/10Service was a bit hit and miss. I asked for a wine list to be told there wasn't one but they had wine I could try. Brought me red, but I wanted green which they didn't have so settled on white. Was told it was 6euros a glass but charged 7,50 Wanted the Tomahawk 1kg but they only had 400g, settled on the rib which was delicious but only small, they talked me into the half size portion for some reason. Husband's tenderloin was lovely too Restaurant itself is very stark, harsh lighting and nothing interesting on the walls or around the place. Had high hopes that were sadly dashed.

10/10We made a reservation based on the Google rating and were extremely happy we did. Great atmosphere, very attentive and friendly service. The owner went out of his way to help us with a wine selection and the food was incredible. All at a very reasonable price for the quality. Highly recommend trying it out!

10/10+1What a wonderful meal. John (I assume the owner) could not have been nicer. From explaining the menu to expounding on the available wines he was pleasant and knowledgeable. A night well spent enjoying superb food and receiving an education on Portuguese food and wine. Thank you so much.

10/10Charcuterie board very good. Steak was excellent. The orange, spicy sauce they give you is amazing. Best part was the wine selection process. Staff is very knowledgeable and asked good questions to help me make the perfect choice.

10/101) My son has severe food allergies. The restaurant owner went out of his way to assure us the kitchen wouldn’t use those ingredients, and neither would there be any fear of cross-contamination. We enjoyed an exquisite meal without fears of anaphylaxis in a foreign country. Priceless. 2) Everything we ordered was delicious. 4 (somewhat) picky eaters (some prefer the word “discerning”) chose 4 different appetizers, 4 different entrees, and …. there wasn’t one bad bite. Every meat order cooked exactly as requested. We highly recommend this steakhouse for at least one of your Lisbon dinners.👍

9.5/10João, the owner is awesome as are his team. No wine list as he changes and updates them constantly - simply brings 5/6 wines (of your colour choice) he has chosen over to the table personally, and tells you all about them and the prices. Meat cooked perfectly. Best steak in Lisbon by a long chalk.

10/10Food was fantastically tasty and nice hearty portions too. Cooked to perfection for our taste and so full of flavour we didn’t even need the complimentary sauces that were brought to our table to accompany the steak (we had the ribs to share to follow a huge mixed board and steak tartare which was by far the best tartare I’ve ever had!). Most impressive to us was the service we received from the moment we walked in to the minute we left. Despite having several large groups in, the staff went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with our experience, explaining what we needed on the menu in detail, describing the wine selection for our taste and even offering us some complimentary drinks to ensure we had a great evening. I could not fault this restaurant’s staff, thank you all!

9/10The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and comfortable — with music, played at a most reasonable level. So, it is easy to converse. The service is attentive and everyone wanted to ensure that I enjoyed my meal which I did. The main courses are mainly meat. The entrecôte was nicely prepared with two sauces to add. I really enjoyed the glasses of Douro wine suggested. If you want an informal dinner, yet with a feeling of elegance due to the attentive service,, do reserve a time for lunch or dinner here soon!
