We looked up best steak restaurant in Lisbon and this restaurant came up. Lovely food but we felt a little over priced compared to other restaurants in Lisbon. Excellent service and choice of wines.

Food was alright; steak was good the rest nothing special. To name a few things: butter was still frozen/too cold, assistent waiter could not share anything more about the mixed cheese/meat platter than “this is cheese and this is meat”, wine served way too warm (room temperature which may have been well above 20 degrees), the long bench along the wall is a bit too low too comfortably eat at the table; no outside space. All in all it was just not what I expected based on the high reviews on fork (and even higher on google).

We read the reviews on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent, chef recommended the cuts of beef, wine was recommended snd was lovely, cocktail was great, and even though they were short staffed, service was impeccable. Highly recommend if you are in Lisbon.

We loved Emblematico so much that we returned on the last night of our vacation just to eat there one more time. The menu is straightforward, and the food is simple but excellently prepared. We felt so welcomed by Joao on our first visit, even when we were running late for our reservation due to a delay in our arrival in Lisbon. The wine was great and reasonably priced. If we are ever back in Lisbon, we'll definitely return to Emblematico!

A perfect steak with interesting side dishes of baby carrots : aubergine: and rustic potatoes. Service was very attentive and helpful. Wine by the glass very drinkable. A very tasty pudding of apple crumble and vanilla ice cream - not heavy. Well worth the 20 minutes walk down the hill but grateful for the taxi ordered for the return climb!

Strange, a few times I'm booking with "TheFork", never ever you get any discount and honestly, these guys need to earn money too, so I'm not asking. But, this is the way "TheFork" is attracting you as a customer, while there will be no discount, so most probably best to book directly with the restaurant and don't spend time & energy on a mobile app fpr a simple task as calling a restaurant, have a human contact....real life.
