10/10We have been coming to Marriott’s Praia D’el Rey Resort for many years. The hotel, the grounds, the rooms and the service are all excellent. We try to time our stay when the Emprata Restaurant is open because it is a 5*+ experience every time. The room is beautiful with its ocean and sunset views. The menu choices include fish and meats. Eduardo, the restaurant host, is remarkably attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and is determined to provide the best dining experience possible. He has made every meal perfect and his knowledge of wines is an added touch. The chef, Bernardo Vitorino, is extraordinary and super creative. The mixture of textures and flavors, combined with the visuals of a picture perfect presentation, is memorable. Emprata is fine dining at its best!

9/10The restaurant was nice, service excellent! The size of the portions vs the price terrible. The food was good, not great for the portions, quality very good. Suggest a significant look at price vs value.

7.5/10Maitre d was great. Food was very good. Service was generally very good until the end when we were basically forgotten, waiting for water, the bill, etc. One server brought our rather complex dessert to us without explaining what anything on the plate was. Smaller things that got in the way of a perfect experience
