I booked three weeks in advance for a dinner for two, but they overbooked and couldn’t get us a table. We had to sit waiting at the bar counter for one hour—absolutely irresponsible of the manager to host more people than they can serve. They gave a table to people who arrived after us while we were still waiting, and when we finally got a table, it was next to a cracked window with freezing wind blowing in. We changed tables again, but no water was served, unlike at all other tables. When we ordered, we were disappointed to hear that what we wanted to eat was over for the night. We waited almost half an hour for the entrée, which was served without any focaccia as stated on the menu. We asked for it, and what we got was a small plate of dry squares of bread. When we were informed from the kitchen that even one of the plates we ordered was unavailable, we decided to consume the last thing and leave. We felt held hostage in this place for one and a half hours—our date was ruined.
