Food was a bit ‘simple’, the elderly waiter seemed to disapprove non-Italien guests

Our first visit to Rome, also our first meal out.. The waiter was very helpful explaining the menu, plus even recommended one or two dishes.. Great food.

the restaurant was more than what we expected , it was a roman ostria the host and owner was more than kind explaining every plates organ and ingrediants matching evey plate with a glass of wine while the prices are acceptable and not expensive, i think this restaurant is a gym that one must visit in every trip to Rome

Food was ok...we walked past this restaurant daily as we walked back to our hotel..menu looked intriguing...the blue crab ravioli was potato filled with a crab spicy red sauce over...not bad..my husband had carbonara...one thing to remember no one makes it the same..I had had an excellent dish the day before so my husband wanted to try it here...not as creamy a bit on the dry side...

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel, just across the street, after looking at reviews on Google we booked a reservation and had an enjoyable meal! Everything was delicious, recommend the fried artichokes, meatballs, eggplant Parmesan, chicken saltimboca, panna cotta and tiramisu! Wine recommendations paired nicely with our entrees and the moscato fur dessert was extraordinary!

Great find, after navigating so many mediocre and expensive tourist traps in the city. Highly recommend, it was a welcome and pleasant change

This is a restaurant with a modern twist on traditional Italian. The menu is quite small but all the food is freshly prepared and its delicious. Great selection of wines. Friendly service - all in all a great find.

If you’re staying near the Spanish Steps this is one of the better options. Food was great but not excellent. Good price point and quality for the meals. Bit a small choice on menu but had some basic Italian staples - there were a lot of tables with kids all eating the Carbonara which is what I got and it was 8/10 on the Carbonara scale, definitely cooked in authentic manner. Appetizer was fried cod and pears with a sweet and sour sauce which we dubbed “Italian fish sticks.” Homemade rosemary focaccia was good. We were stuffed and even couldn’t eat it all so servings were big. Service was good with a no nonsense owner (maybe the owner?) with the “tired of tourists” air. Glad we went because it was close and we were hungry and we left satisfied.

A charming small restaurant recommended by friends. We enjoyed our pasta and risotto in the front window.

We ate at this restaurant 3 times in 4 days and each time the food was very good and the service unobtrusively excellent. This is one of those places where the food speaks for itself and the staff are quietly engaging. Highly reconned if you want a good quality quiet meal.

Always excellent. Choose it for our last night in Rome this summer. Many traditional dishes but a cut above most other places.

Food was not very flavorful; steak and lamb. Service was fair; no warmth or friendliness. Would not return as there are so many restaurants in Rome.

A wonderful restaurant. Everything was delicious and prepared with local, high quality ingredients. The staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed it so much we ate there twice during our stay in Rome. Grazie mille.

Wonderful little restaurant with exceptional food and excellent service. Do good that we dined there twice, having been disappointed with other 'fast service' restaurants in the area.

We have found our favourite restaurant. Decided to try another restaurant but we were disappointed so came back the following evening. Will definitely come back and recommend to anyone wanting good food and wine and friendly service. Wonderful atmosphere.

We saw great reviews on Fork and it was a complete let down. I order the Grilled Lamb and my brother ordered the Eggplant Parmesan. The lamb was very undercooked borderline raw and not seasoned at all. The eggplant wasn’t great either. I’m not one to leave reviews ever but I was very disappointed

Having been to this restaurant before, we had some expectations, and we were not disappointed: The service, the food, the ambience - all very good. We will most certainly go back next time we go back to Rome - I am not the worlds greatest aficionado, but I highly recommend this restaurant.

We loved this small family run restaurant in a side street close to the Piazza Del Spagne. The food was interesting and very good. We were pleased with both our starter of artichoke presented three ways and our main course of veal fir one of us and a delightful pasta dish. We will return.

It was a wonderful evening. We practically had the restaurant to ourselves as it was on a Sunday night and it was raining. The pinsa we ordered as appetizer was delicious; we chose the specialty of the house (Golosa) with truffle oil, mortadella and honey. We then ordered saltimbocca alla romana with cicoria. All of this with a wonderful bottle of Sicilian Nero d'Avola wine

Excellent veal escalope & gnocchi but disappointed with the ravioli (hardly any fish taste) but a good restaurant overall.

We had a very nice dinner on our last night in Rome. Excellent meat and pasta dishes and a great wine selection.

The pinsa are excellent! Highly recommend those (especially the traditional one). Pasta is fine but not homemade fresh pasta. The lunch formula sounds interesting but we didn't get the chance to try it
