The menu was changed without prior notification. It's common practice for restaurants to have a specific New Year's Eve menu. However, this change was not announced beforehand, and the restaurant only offered Champagne as a drink while it was a wine shop and we went there to taste its wine. Additionally, the staff incorrectly calculated the payment and refused to provide a receipt. These factors led to an overall negative experience.

Dear Sir, your review is completely false. The dinner was a la carte with a free choice of wines, and the menu was respected. On the receipt, you even make a serious and offensive statement. I will consider legal action against you for defamation. How sad.

Went to have New Year’s Eve dinner there and it was great. They offered a special prefix menu which was reasonably priced. Our server recommended some good wine as well. We’ll definitely be back!

Very very slow service. Over 90 mins for food. Salmon raw in centre, cod sauce way too spicy. Good waiter, terribly slow service

The place to eat in Florence, despite being south of the river. It's 15mins walk from the Baptistery. Fabulous terrace, great blond beer from Umbria, stuffed squid starter, fried cod dyed in squid ink with spicy tomato sauce as mains, glass of Vermentino, mascarpone and strawberries for dessert. What's not to love??

Wine we chose was not available. Food was good but not up to expectations based upon our time in Florence in April 2022. Close to our apartment but so many other places within a close walk.

Grazie mille per la buona recensione. Il vino che avevate ordinato era momentaneamente non disponibile. Vi abbiamo portato un Chianti altrettanto buono al solito prezzo. Vino che avete gradito e bevuto. È vero nel quartiere ci sono tanti altri locali, tutti fanno cucina toscana, ma la nostra cucina non è analoga a quella degli altri locali della zona. Può piacere o meno ma non siamo interscambiabili con altrettanti locali. Siamo un unicum sul territorio. Per questo facciamo più fatica a farci capire in alcuni casi. Ma ci piace così ????. Grazie ancora e buona Pasqua.

Tasted several dishes among us. Most good. The tortelli with gorgonzola and pear caramelized in brandy were delicious but too sweet for a primo. Desserts good. Main criticism is portions too small particularly for pasta courses.

Good atmosphere and friendly staff. My only advice is on the light in the bathroom and the order in the wardrobe. The place and the restaurant are very nice and typical. I would suggest reducing furniture from the walls, from the bar counter and inside the wardrobe.

Good food, nice wine selection, awesome atmosphere. The guy who attend us didn’t speak english (and very closed italian, so it was hard for me to understand him with my crappy italian). It was quite hard to communicate to choose wines. Appart from that, very romantic dinner in a perfect atmosphere.
