WOW! Amazing food, great variety, exceptional service and a great atmosphere were all combined to give us and our friends a wonderful evening. We rate Gallo Nero as our best restaurant in Greve and are grateful for local wineyerd owners for the recommendation.

Dinner was fantastic, we had the pasta special, Tomahawk pork, and Florentine steak and they were all incredible. Service was wonderful. It is a lovely place to to enjoy good food and ambiance. We will go back again.

We started off with the asparagus strudel and it was delicious. I’ll be craving it for the rest of my life. Next was a pasta dish (ravioli) that wasn’t my favourite. We then got a couple different beef dishes with roast potatoes. The beef was perfect and the potatoes were the best we’ve ever eaten. Dessert was a coffee mousse in a white chocolate coffee cup.....amazing! I would definitely return.

The food (especially the risotto & the white chocolate fish) was delicious, great atmosphere in the restaurant, the service (young man) was also very nice & helpful with the wine & grappa.

Great restaurant and atmosphere, order the "by-the-weight" T-Bone, you will not be disappointed!! It is cut table-side by the chef ... and of course you must drink a great Chianti Classico with these steaks!

The food at Gallo Nero is very good. Each time that we go to Greve in Chianti, we eat here. From the meat and cheese plate, to the tortelli and on to the fantastic steaks; each course is worth the effort. The ingredients are well selected and we haven't ever needed anything more than the fantastic house wine. The staff are quite pleasant and know their menu. We have thoroughly enjoyed each visit to Gallo Nero.

The only comment is that although I booked through the fork.com and had confirmation of booking, when we arrived at the restaurant they had no record of the booking.
