Fabulous food and service. We enjoyed sitting outside where there is a great view over the Tuscan countryside. The inside also has a very nice atmosphere. We will be back!

The atmosphere, the service and food are all perfect. The great selection of Brunello wiens is amazing and the prices are well balanced. We return every year and it’s always OK. Complimenti per team Svaenen: Simone and his father!

It was one of our favorite restaurants in Italy! Very small, family run business. Outstanding food, a great Brunello (make sure you have THEIR Brunello), and great service. We highly recommend!

Every year this restaurant and winebar is on our list. Always great. Very good food, great wines and lovely people. Never ever change a wi ning team. When in Montalcino, .... have lunch, drink wine or have dinner at Svaenen.

Everything was heated in the microwave. Disgusting taste, and we got 4 dishes... pity

Great food, friendly owner and with a lovely view from the terrace, shame it was too cold to sit outside. Quiet as outside main part of the town but tbh that makes it better instead of the theme park feel of the town centre. Definitely better to eat here if visiting Montalcino

Superb! They accept to serve a "tris" of bici...I hope it will go in the menu! Romantic, excellent food and location

Really enjoyed the food and the setting. Nice to be a bit outside of Montalcino and the owner was really great. We will be back.
