10/10It was one of our favorite restaurants in Italy! Very small, family run business. Outstanding food, a great Brunello (make sure you have THEIR Brunello), and great service. We highly recommend!

10/10Every year this restaurant and winebar is on our list. Always great. Very good food, great wines and lovely people. Never ever change a wi ning team. When in Montalcino, .... have lunch, drink wine or have dinner at Svaenen.

10/10Great food, friendly owner and with a lovely view from the terrace, shame it was too cold to sit outside. Quiet as outside main part of the town but tbh that makes it better instead of the theme park feel of the town centre. Definitely better to eat here if visiting Montalcino

10/10Really enjoyed the food and the setting. Nice to be a bit outside of Montalcino and the owner was really great. We will be back.
