Every year this restaurant and winebar is on our list. Always great. Very good food, great wines and lovely people. Never ever change a wi ning team. When in Montalcino, .... have lunch, drink wine or have dinner at Svaenen.

Great food, friendly owner and with a lovely view from the terrace, shame it was too cold to sit outside. Quiet as outside main part of the town but tbh that makes it better instead of the theme park feel of the town centre. Definitely better to eat here if visiting Montalcino

Really enjoyed the food and the setting. Nice to be a bit outside of Montalcino and the owner was really great. We will be back.

Lovely view of the countryside. Quiet outside seating. Food was delicious . Just watch carefully for the parking entrance passed the building

Absolutely amazing. We are foodies from NY and just came from a great series of meals in Florence but this lunch was hands down our best meal in Italy so far. My truffle pasta was incredible. My husband had the porcini pasta and now I’m officially obsessed with Italian mushrooms. Great service, incredible view - definitely don’t miss it!
