This was a last minute booking on Christmas Day as over previous booking, made at Tosca, 4 weeks previously via The Fork was cancelled without explanation on Christmas Eve. We had the 7 course degustation menu with paired sake. Service was friendly, very good, thorough explanations of each course and accompanying sake. Tables were uncrowded so not sitting elbow to elbow as often the case. Food was full of flavor; everything distinctive, different textures and collectively, it all worked wonderfully. Will definitely return.

I LOVE this restaurant. The food is beyond excellent, the staff are so incredibly kind and discreet and the decor is aesthetically divine. As they say in French, ‘go there with your eyes closed’! In other words, don’t hesitate an instant ❤️🤤

chicken yakitoti is exceptional. Sashimi don and Sashimi is ok but no surprise. Breaded blue fin tuna is a bit strange. 9.9 is overated.

The omakase + sake pairing was a wonderful experience, especially because I was able to be seated at the counter in front of Chef Endo. Every dish and sake was explained, and each pairing was beautiful. I would come back again next time I’m in Paris.

Everything is just Perfect ! We choose a menu with accord sake & champagne. The accord improve more the taste of each dish. Chef Endo came to our table to say thank you and we have a great conversation about local food source and food quality. Eel from Spain, not Japan - Why not?

Truly superlative dining experience. Our go-to spot in Paris. Not sure why neglected by the Michelin guide, but this place never disappoints!

Amazing experience start to finish. Food was spectacular - the chef’s tasting menu was one of the best meals we’ve ever had (and we’ve had a lot of great ones). Service was super competent and exactly the right balance of friendly without being invasive. Ambiance was calm and comfortable. A very, very rare five stars.

Excellent wine list. Highest quality of dishes. Amazing service. Staff speaks perfect English. Soup spilled by me was wiped off in the most discreet and reassuring way.

We had to book a tasting menu on thefork. It was the €55-60 per person lunch. The starter was 2 pieces of cold boiled octopus which were plain and then a few pickled vegetable which was OK. But then my main raw fish dish were again made of mostly boiled octopus and some tuna and white fish sashimi over rice. More octopus? Not tender no taste. The fish has no taste either. And two pieces of tuna look not fresh in dark gray color. I took one bite and it tasted a little funny. I left 3 pieces of turna and 3 pieces of octopus on the plates. A horrible main dish. The rice and fish feel like just coming out of fridge, very cold. Afterwards my stomach felt very uncomfortable and I had to go home to drink lots of hot ginger tea. My husband ordered miso cod which he liked. Furthermore, the service was extremely slow. After 50 minutes, we were only served with two starters while other people who came after us were being served with full dishes. I asked her why was so slow, she said we came late. But I arrived almost in time while nobody inside, but my husband got lost, so I went out to get him and we arrived at 13 minutes late. For me this lunch not only expensive but horrible quality and repetitive dishes. Starter and main dish are all octopus?

Charming service at this serious Japanese eatery. My menu degustation was well judged and varied - with tempura, sashimi (especially the bass) and puddings such as green apple and shiso sorbet the highlights. Yes it’s pricey, but the ingredients are top notch and you get very personal service. Recommended.

The Sunday menu and atmosphere is absolutely something to try. It is more cosy and could be described as a subtle and high quality izakaya. It is different from weekdays but the quality is high. It is the opportunity to try different items on the menu as everything is served in « tapas» style. Sunday is the hidden gem of the big gem.
